  • Great video James. I'm amazed that you managed to film so many things of Singapore in your trip here last year. I have used your video in my blog.

  • its a nicely made video, but i just don't think its a fair and natural assessment of how people really feel in S'pore. I know people who live there, and its almost as if they are afraid to say anything bad about it, even though they think bad things. Very strange place indeed but still, one i will be visiting this year to form my own judgements.

  • @Paul1979RUFC I live in Singapore all my live and the talk of bad things happening to pple saying bad things is exaggerated. It comes from the fact that pple are allowed to file defamation suits to defend their name against someone out to ruin it with fake rumors. The ruling party have been known to sue opposition politicians for large sums of money hence how these rumors started. However the law works both ways and opposition have also successfully won similar lawsuits against the ruling party

  • wat did he say at 2:04?*

  • @TraceurJY "It's good...I'm happy...I hope when I die its under Lee Kuan Yew"

  • @jameswiffen haha .. i think only Singaporeans will understand what he is trying to say. Sorry if i have offended you!! ><

  • wat did he say @2.04?

  • Short but very sweet. Great job!

  • wonderful video! love the narration, the graphics :)

  • This's a good documentary. So much insight into the country. Thought of getting it featured on journeyman?

  • @nedatronics Thanks a lot for the feedback. I'm glad you liked it. I've not heard of Journeyman, what is it? I'm definitely keen to get it featured wherever I can, as I really enjoyed making it, and would love to get more feedback on it.

  • @jameswiffen Hi James, Journeyman is an independent documentary distributing channel. You can search for their channel at "journeymanpictures". Just search for their youtube channel or their .tv website. I'm not sure about the procedure you have to follow to get your docu featured but i'm definitely sure that ur docu meets their stringent standards. Good luck with this. May I ask if you're still in Singapore?

  • @nedatronics Ok thanks, I'll check out their website. I'm not in Singapore now, no. I live in the UK. I went out for about a week to film the doc back in March 2009. I'll hopefully go back soon though, as I love it there!
