Compressor surge?

i keep hearing all this compressor surge crap...if you dont have a bov ur turbo will go. just dont treat ur car like shit it will be fine.warm up - tick over, sorted.

i put the HKS SSQV on my evo x and it was so bad lol it couldn't have been opening at all.. anybody want it that you know just holler at me its packed up in the box lol

loosen the spring tension. Or your vacuum source ain't strong enough.

stupidest shit i've heard about compressor surge... you get fucken surge when you get off accelerator not when your boosting you hear the surge noise you stupid fuckwit. Also his getting this sound because his springs on his bov is adjusted too tight, so only it would only release pressure properly beyond the rate of the spring, softer spring = pressure releasing with low boost, harder spring = pressure cant open valve because springs are too stiff meaning you get surge... its easy as that.

I'm not going to tell you, compressor surge can destroy your turbo and your engine. I don't suggest you try.

don touch the stupid spring if u r not boosting high . juz leave it as factory default set . it will do juz fine . actually better than fine . which is GOOD

yes..i found out that i had 2 springs in there, i just took out the harder one and left the softer spring inside

Flutter sound = Spring too tight , which is compressor surge.

If its too loose the engine won't return to idle correctly.

Look up on the StealthFX videos, a guy tells you about their companys product but also says what conditions need to be present for smooth operation.
