  • this stuff works i use it all the time

  • There's probably better products out there... for a while 3M was the rave.. but Meguires is generally always dependable and a good price point.

  • I feel they should have shown more... You can still see the compound haze/blush and the polishing step should have been shown as well. Buffing a car is not just a compounding step. Just pointing this out to people who don't know. It's a 2-3 step process to buff a car.

  • Meguiar's makes the best stuff

  • People who believe this process doesnt work, or think its a hoax are stupid.. They just mad cause they dont know how to use the product.. This stuff works.. Meguiars products are badass

  • Meguiar's is the only product I use. Everybody around where I live. Ask me how to I keep my car looking new. I said. I buy the good stuff and not armor all.

  • @FloydRoseDiscovery I agree, their products are excellent. Thanks for watching and providing feedback!

  • great demo, thanks donnie!

  • @jimmo4life Hi jimmo, thanks for watching. I have enjoyed many of your videos as well. What do you think about the new YouTube look? I see you switched too. We should get together sometime and do a phone interview.

  • Meguiar's is the best.

  • @suash357 I agree, they have some great products. Thanks for watching the videos.

  • what does this product calls and where can i get it from ?

  • @hussbilal he's just demonstrating how compound works, its heavy polish thats all, nothing mystical about. Meguiar's isnt the only company that makes car polish's, they just make products that are more mild and retail oriented as opposed to professional stuff like 3M or Malco. You can buy compounds and polishes from all local auto parts store like autozone or napa. Any good store should have multiple choices as far as brands go.

  • I can tell you for a fact this product works excellent. I sprayed my sentra with acrylic enamel and then wet sanded with 1500 grit . I used the ultimate compound and my car is glass homie.

  • @imbreezin Thanks for providing your feedback. Meguiars has been around for a long time. Thanks for watching my video.

  • Great vid. Simple demo. People have to really concentrate when watching anything today. The video does show huge. Improvement in side be side comparison. Thx.

  • @manwithbrains Thanks for watching!

  • This video is not a true comparison of before and after. The cameraman films the right hand side of the paint very clearly with swirls and webbing but does NOT zoom in or go to the left hand side to show any scrathes, swirls or webbing, so how do we know they were there in the first place?

So why didnt they do that?, maybe it doesnt work that good or that quick,im not a hater i just wish people would show both sides so you can clearly see the difference for themselves.

  • @SP330Y I am not a professional video tech. I just use my flip camera when I was at SEMA. I thought it was cool so I shot a clip to share with youtube. I appeared to work good looking at it live with my eyes. Thanks for watching!

  • I shot this video at SEMA. If you like it let us know by clicking the like link. What other types of videos would you like to see us add on here? Thanks for your help!

  • can this be applied by hand?

  • @Mr98supra I believe that this product is designed to be applied with machine. However, they do make products that can be applied by hand.

  • @Mr98supra Yes, it can be applied both by hand or by a DA machine, but the best result will be when applied by a machine.

  • how does the flip over technique work you keep one side for breaking the wax surface and the other side is for taking it all off?

  • some of these polishes have just enough wax in them to 'fill' the scratches in my opinion. A few months in the weather they may show up again...

  • @67dodgepolara They will not show up again unless you instill them back into the finish through improper washing technique or other poor techniques. I have used this product numerous times with great results. It contains no wax, I promise that.

  • I think there is some confusion here. I am not with Meguiar's. I am a collision repair instructor that took this video while at SEMA. The product looked impressive to me so I videoed the presentation. No trick editing, just a flip camera! Also I work in the collision repair industry, not detailing. I have always referred to the scratches as swirl marks. Swirl marks is painter jargon.

  • u can see it on the other light

  • They didn't clearly show that the swirls were completey removed. He clearly showed the other side in the light then stopped when he got to the other side.

  • @2323plug EXACTLY

  • @2323plug

    True...

Then, as a PROFESSIONAL detailer myself... I really wish guys would get their terminology correct!

SWIRL MARKS are the HOLOGRAM effect left from and uneducated or experienced detailer with a high speed buffer...

SPIDER WEBBING is the effect left from natural wear n tear and incorrect washing techniques...

Just shows? You can wear a Meguires shirt and still NOT be a PROFESSIONAL detailer...

  • @CastingStonez Spider webbing and swirl marks can be synonymous. The important part is that people recognize the defects in their paint and have the knowledge about how to handle them.

  • @Kprt23 synonymous with "ROOKIES"...

No master craftsmen will tell you they are the same thing... NONE!

One is made by the natural effects of our environment and/or bad wash techniques.(spiderwebbing).

The other is made by the IN EXPERIENCE/ TRAINING of an auto detailer using the wrong combination of Pad, Product and Buffer speed. (swirl marks or hologram effects).

So, concluding? your wrong... The experts are right...

  • @2323plug

your right I saw that to
