@4SCARECROWS But you know. I really try to stay positive and think about the things that make me happy. Because there are many things that I like and I take it one day at a time,. I tell people about asperger and hopefully the get curious to take a look at it.
By the way, when I type in asperger or aspergers, the red correction line under the word appears. Not even the computer know what asperger is. LOL
Lastly, I'm no professional but from my understanding of the negative call backs of mood disorders they can veil (hide) aspergers syndrome because of the overwhelming aspects that certain mood disorders have, off course it depends on the type of mood disorder that you may have offcourse.
The only advise i can give you is perhaps apply for aspergers right online?, I wish the very best to you and hope that it gets more recognized in your area.
First off, Flatster that response was not atall appropriate. And modobeno, aspergers has only recently been taken seriously causing confusion between professionals in some areas of the world
Anyway scarecrow, unfortunately having being diagnosed at 16 i cant relate to you in the way you would like in a response from this video, what i can say at least is you are not alone, i know a 55 year old diagnosed at 55, outstandingly as it may sound.
@InF3RNOuS Don't get in a mood at flatster. I have autism and aspergers and I actually say that as a joke, we really don't get offended by it. I'm 13 and I was diagnosed at 3, I couldn't walk or talk til I was 7/8 and now I'm in high school, which shows there can be improvements.
@MondoBeno I know this is a really ancient comment. But Better late than never eh? I really did have problems when I was young , even before school age. I'm 34 now, and at school I had parents thatt did not want a stimatism attached to me. They were advised to seek outside help, but instead had my school place me under learning disabilities. It was very torturous growing up, no meds no nothing, only heavy hands, and ignorance. Sorry but this reply comment to you I feel is not sufficient enough.
You are not alone. I was, until I got a computer last summer and can now communicate in a way much more natural for me. If you lived in freakin' Alaska it wouldn't matter, because now you can go online to find the best available experts anywhere and just send them a letter asking who near you might help. If they're not near, write to them anyway and ask what you can do. There's always something you can do, because you really are not alone now.
i have aspergers, ps background noise is really bad, needs cutting with something like camtasia

I have talked to NAMI. But any of the nearest places that can help me that are qualified. Well lets just say I might as well be on the moon.

@stickmarta So your fine with being called an ass burger? Which is for lack of a better work directly insultive to anyone who has aspergers.
InF3RNOuS 1 year ago
@InF3RNOuS Really I find it funny to be honest. Not like it's really anything to do with Aspergers anyway.
