Lol! My grandpa has this same kind of bird, he says quite a bit of the same things lol. He like to mimic clicking and beeps/whistles/ringing sounds lol.
I wish I could get him to keep talking when he is on camera - he has been sayng some really funny things lately. I get the camera out and he is so busy trying to see what it is that he stops talking. We will keep working on it, will post soon - I hope!
@Emmely454 Thanks, he is really smart. He has learned that when the food can for the dogs opens he calls them "FOOD FOOD FOOD" or if he hears the fridge door open he says "Cheese Please!" The funniest things he did lately was I had to go into the bird room at night after the lights were out. I keep him and my other bird covered at night and from under his cover he WHISPERED in a firm voice " G E T O U T!" I thought I was going to die laughing. He did it not once but twice. to funny.
I love his playstand! I will be getting my Grey in the spring and am very excited! My wonderful foster mom had a Grey (& Macaw) & I was with her for 2 years. I have wanted one ever since- it has been 20 years and now I feel I am in a place in my life where I can give him the proper care and attention he deserves!! I can't wait!

Gus has a high pitched baby's voice. It's funny how they all have different voices and accents. My mom's Congo & Timneh have deep voices and I know someone who's Grey has a southern accent and another one with a British accent. I LOVE THEM! (Later on I heard that Gus has a similar accent to his owner which makes sense :)
Horrible slogin, I agree, BUT there has been a proposed law that anyone caught posting videos on youtube with someone singing songs that are copyrighted, they can be sent to jail for up to 5 years! Please sign... freebeiber. org
He's amazing. The African Grey is my favorite bird, and this just makes me want one even more. He's such a smartie!
