How about posting the calls that Tyrone did to the guy at Ralphs "I'll treat you right too" I loved this tape... lost it long ago. I remember talking to "Southern Culture On The Skids" about this tape around 1990 when I worked at a club called Bogarts in Long Beach. This tape did get around!
WOW!!! I thought me & my close friends were the only kids who knew about this (well, besides my old friend's dad who had the unlabeled tape on which we found it). I've been enjoying this since the mid/late 80s; putting it on mixtapes for friends for years! Awesome!!!
the band was creamy garlic dipping sauce. I was a member of the band, it was recorded in july of 97 no we never wnet on tour and it was a random name out of the phone book, the musical portion was mixed by a friend
this guy is full of shit. i had a copy of this prank call when i was in high school. and that was well before 1997. in fact i think it was around '89-'90 ish. its weird that people take credit for something they didnt do.
This is from circa 1986...the story has it that the guy on the receiving end of the call had parallel parked his car in such a fashion that the guys who made the call, could not get out until he came back and moved his car. They took his tag number down and found out who he was, where he lived, AND his phone number...the rest is history! : )
