This feels like a list assembled by top 40 radio/video Jamiroquai fans. As someone who was at the store on the release date of Emergency On Planet Earth this does not seem like a real fan list. How could Blow My Mind (good song) be on the list over Revolution 1993 the first real uptempo Jamiroquai track. Stillness in Time, Scam, Travelling Without Moving, High Times, Soul Education, Planet Home, Main Vein, Starchild and Time Won't Wait deserve a spot.
@anjinsan1977 It's "Blow 'your' mind". ;) but you're right, the well known tracks are bound to get more votes. "Revolution 1993" is one of those tracks which tends to be liked more by hardcore jamiroquai fans like you and me, the same as songs like "Mr Moon" or "Tallulah". However songs like "Virtual Insanity" and "Little L" are more popular songs with casual fans. That doesn't mean they are bad songs though, if people like them, they can't be bad. All Jamiroquai songs are good. I like them all.
It feels like a slippery slope. Everything on this list was made into a video, so I'm going to have to agree with anjinsan1977 in saying that the Top 40 culture won out. If we went by album song alone and not by what was made into a video, the list would definitely be different. A majority of what's played at their concerts certainly reflects that.
@jamiroquai01fan Thank you for posting this, and it was a toss up for me between Hurtin' and OMG, he is smoking hot and sexy in that last video. Love the long hair on him. oh and White Knuckle Ride cos it has a beat and you can dance to it.

dude, chill with the hostilities, maybe only 50 ppl responded. Get a grip. and the Godzilla soundtrack song, Deeper Underground was another favorite of mine and later my nephew and nieces. It's hard to pick just 10 favorite Jamiroquai songs. Am glad they keep making records. Bob listed 10 top ones I love, especially Falling which is very romantic; though Morning Glory would be one of mine, and Butterfly, and I could go on.

Space Cowboy... wow, I didn't vote (I miss it) but I would vote for this song. Is just the best song of Jamiroquai and my favourite song of all time. Simply I don't know what version of this song I like more, the single version? the album one? or what about the version from Jazziroquai?
Whatever. Great list. In my favourites also would be Soul Education, Time Won't Wait, Scam, Revolution and (Don't) Give Hate a Chance.
The first two albums alone warrant all the greatest songs!!!.....with Mr. Moon as my #1!!!!!!.....but Little L, King for a Day, Use the Force, Starchild, and Talullah are right up there in my book!!!
Too Young To Die, Runaway, Seven Days In Sunny June & Virtual Insanity i can agree with
Top 10 fave songs that DIDN't make it onto your list: Talullah Travelling Without Moving Black Crow Supersonic When You Gonna Learn Time Won't Wait Funktion Deeper Underground Corner of the Earth Black Devil Car
@jamiroquai01fan sure, but jamiroquai has LOTS of BETTER songs... yup, canned heat is one of them! Personnaly, my favs are seven days in sunny june, hot tequila brown, virtual insanity, love foolosophy, too young too die, you give me something, little l and talulah :)
@Andr3B3llo They are all great songs :). To be honest with the exception of 1 or 2 songs, i like all jamiroquai songs. They have never done a really bad song, and you cant say that about many artists these days! I love the new song "rock dust light star" as well!
I'm surprised you didn't hear from 500 ppl as opposed to only 50, wtf?..Jamiroquai is absolutely the F'in BEST band ever! Nice job putting this together. And my vote is Travelling without moving :D
i love jamiroquai. allways have. i have to say thou that their first to albums are outstanding. and "Blow my mind" has carried me through a lot. Its a master groove. the band lost a lot when Stuart Zender left the band. He was in my opinion the musical genius that got it all together.
@mogglie I reckon zender was a big talent who participated in the original jamiroquai sound. However i would say that the big genius simply has to be Jay Kay and not stu. The big change in sound was mainly due to sony (the record company until 2007) who were demanding certain things from the band. I think we will see with the new album that the band can be as good as ever without stuart zender. :). Dont get me wrong though, Stu is obviously a very talented man.
Please remember that this is not my personal top 10 jamiroquai song :D. It was the top 10 as voted by other youtube users :). Please read the video description for more information, including all other songs which recieved votes.
1-Blow Your Mind 2-When you Gonna learn? 3-The Return of the Space Cowboy 4-Cosmic Girl 5-Mr.Moon 6-Falling 7-Mein Vein 8-Music of the Wind 9-Tallulah 10-High Times ...in my opinion
The Sp@ce Cowboy!!!! yeah! the best Jamiroquai song ever...it was totally fair...but i would like to know what happened to mr moon...travelling without moving, etc...but... well i can't complain... all jamiroquai songs are by far the greatest ones.
ALL his albums as well as the music by Jamiroquai, is truly phenomenal, regardless of the style it was put into for each album. Although I truly believe the first 2 albums, EMERGENCY ON PLANET EARTH and THE RETURN OF THE SPACE COWBOY, are his absolute best.
I became a fan of his music when I was stationed in Italy for the US Air Force back in '94, and although I agree "Space Cowboy" is the #1 spot, THE RETURN OF THE SPACE COWBOY album does have a few that should have made your list like "Stillness In Time", "Half The Man", "Mr. Moon" and "Morning Glory"
hight times, emergency on planet earth ,to young to die just another story, travenlling withount moving ,king for a day ,cannet heat, love foolosophy, mr moon, etc etc...
@blackeststar12 i agree. i am missing light years, or revolution. but i was at peace to find out space cowboy is number one...i think the live version with the horns is absolutely fantastic!
My Top 10 1. Little L 2. Do you know where you're coming from 3. too young to die 4. blow your mind 5. tighten up ( their version ) 6. Travelling without moving ( abbey road version ) 7. love foolosophy 8. seven days in sunny june 9. don't give hate a chance 10. Emergency on planet earth
did not expect that lol great vid, 5 of my favourites got in alright, too young too die, cosmic girl, blow your mind and space cowboy, suprised at a few tho lol my favourite is ALRIGHT!!!
My top: 1. Planet Home 2. Electric Mistress 3.High Times 4.Cosmic Girl 5.Light Years 6.Virtual Insanity 7.You Give Me Something 8.Little L 9.Seven Days In Sunny June 10.Emergency On Planet Earth 11,12,13 ... Canned Heat, Deeper Undergound, Space Cowboy !!!! JK 4Ever THE BEST !!!!
My top ten from jamiroquai is: 1: Little L 2:canned heat 3:Dynamite 4:Shoot the moon 5:Bad girls. But those r the top 10 6:Alright. Now...... 7:High Times 8:Feels just like it should 9:Space cowboy 10:Radio.
