  • I love that you talk about natural birth in your videos. Thank you so much for posting them!

  • Glad you're getting something out of them. :) Are you posting your own?

  • hey, sorry i'm watching these soooo late - been offline for over a month now! anyway got some great news - were pregnant! :D

after 3 years of trying, we are finally pregnant, i'll be 6 weeks on monday (todays Saturday) so were very excited! we found out last friday. i have decided i'm also going to do a pregnancy diary, starting at week 10/12

  • OMG...congratulations!!!!!! That is just the best news! I hope all is well with you and the baby and that things turn out perfect! :) Way to go!!!!!!!!!

  • i love your laugh at the beginning of this video ;) it is the cutest thing ever!! anyday for you now!! good luck!

  • hey ya,

i'm 34wks 1 day jst a question how do u deal with heart burn i'm getting it so bad and i cry with minei'm in new zealand so im hoping u could give me an idea what u would do please help

  • Ugh! Mine's awful too. I got a prescription for Zantac from my midwife, and I also take Tums (or Rolaids) to deal with the really harsh stuff. I stay away from water during meals, and acidic foods like tomatoes. A girlfriend told me taking a little bit of soda with meals seemed to help her heartburn... Good luck!

  • Thanks for sharing your story with the world. I'm a HypnoBirthing practitioner and I enjoyed hearing from someone who is having their birth with HB techniques. Blessings on your birth!

  • Always glad to meet a fellow believer! Not too many of us around these parts...

  • Thanks girl, and congrats on your pregnancy as well! I'm trying not to be too emotional, but it's not working! Maybe in about 4 more weeks it'll settle down -- or get worse! Not sure yet, but looking forward to meeting my little guy, just the same. :)

  • hey ya u look good i'm 32 weeks and 2 days u should do what feels best for u if u want baby put on ur chest when babys born u should let them no nice tummy mines really big its bigger than urs now lol

  • are you using a mac for this recording?

  • yep. MacBook.

  • Hi, That was such a positive video. I am 22 weeks now and I think i will def watch this video again when i'm getting closer to my due date in February. You are looking great :)

  • Congrats on your pregnancy, and thanks for the sweet comment!

  • Thanks so much! It's easy to stay positive with great support from girls like you on here. Everyone says such nice things, and it motivates me to do more vids! :)

  • Hi there! Just finished watching all your videos. You are too cute. :) Very pretty belly. I hope the rest of your pregnancy and delivery goes smoothly! I subscribed so I can keep up with what happens. :) I'm due with a little boy in Feb.

  • Awesome! Congrats on your little boy. As xxxjoepolexxx says, welcome to the blue team! :)

  • So even though u might argue w/ them and get an extra 15 minutes it's almost pointless b/c they are bugging you and hovering you the ENTIRE TIME. Cute bump

  • Thanks!

  • Yah, congrats on making it to WEEK 34!!! How exciting :) Who wouldn't get emotional after that? Sounds like a horror story! Good Luck. I know it's a negative story but hospitals HAVE POLICYS you can fight them all you want, they almost always win. After nursing her I just wanted to bond w/ her and look at her, and every 2 minutes they said we need to take her we need to take her and they ruined that...

  • I Cant wait to see him ... hey guess what i was going tho the videos and you never really told us the Sex of the baby but im guessing its a boy since you say him . and you never gave us a name ?? anyways your almost there . wish you all the luck .

  • Around week 21 or 22 I let everyone know it was a boy! So I just refer to the baby as him now. :) As for the name though, we're not saying! I'll tell you sometime in November, I promise!

  • Your getting closer! Hang in there! I hope I look as good as you do when I am as far as you are. Its great that you have good hubby support. I dont know what I would do if I didnt have my David:).

  • I can imagine how you felt discouraged after your hospital tour. But it seems your husband will stand firm in protecting your interest (what a loving, confident feeling this gives you) so you will be able to rest easy & stay focused on your hypno-birthing! BTW are your contractions referred to as "pressure waves" in your class?! Images of a nice, calm day at the beach are brought to mind when I hear that (thank goodness)! What book are you reading on the topic? You are look amazing! Take care!

  • We call them "surges." Or at least the real ones will be! The little Braxton ones I get now I still refer to as contractions, because it IS a tightening sensation. I'm sure the real ones wil be MUCH different! :)

    Thanks for the positive note!

  • Its getting close now! Im so excited for you! You have nothing to worry about with them taking lil fish away from you when hes born, as you have your Darren to protect you both! Nothing else will matter when you get your lil guy in your arms for the first time and he grabs at your finger and looks into your eyes! Im sure some of those familiar tears will well up again with love and happiness for the both of you!!

  • Daren keeps me sane -- I love that guy! :) I'm just so excited to see what a little D looks like!

  • Love your belly...you still do look really cute!

  • You should just ask the doctor there when you are laboring that you want to have the baby placed on your chest after you have "fish" cuz that is what I did and they said that was no problem. I don't know why they would take the baby right away from you without letting you hold him if he was perfectly fine..I could see it if he wasn't breathing or something but if he is fine than why should they take the baby away? I would have been upset too but hopefully if you ask they will let you.

  • Yeah, I agree. I'm going to do a birth plan, I just hope they follow it...

  • I hope I look as great as you do when I hit 34 weeks! Good luck with everything!

  • How sweet! Thanks -- you ladies on here always keep me motivated...

  • Hi cutie! Don't stress yourself about "what if's". The emotions are so normal. Remember what you've learn in your class. Think good thoughts, not only in labor, but beging now. Good, peaceful, happy thoughts. The staff at the hospital have done this a thousand times but remind them that this is your first time. When "Fish" is in your arms and he looks in your eyes, nothing else will matter.

    hugs <33*

    Grandma Lizzie

  • Thanks G'ma Lizzie! I'm keeping my "success photo" (the mental image of me, Daren and our little fish in our first post-birth photo) in my head as a focus point so I don't get too hung up on the negative...

  • You look great,(GOOD LUCK!!=)

  • Thank you thank you!

  • i agree with you. i feel like i have less control over my pregnancy than i would like to have....especially when it comes to talking about the birth.

i'm sure it will be fine though...for the both of us! congrats, again. you are looking great. and i re-posted my 1st trimester video...so you'll have to check it out.

  • Thanks -- we both just have to stay positive!

Oh, and I just checked out your 1st tri vid -- nice job on the editing!
