@TheeBycth that's true but Conviction has a whole nother gameplay wich does not bring respect to what this, Pandora tomorrow and most of all Chaos Theory are. They based Conviction on a Storyline more than on gameplay, they sort of made it with Double Agent but Conviction was messed up, or maybe that's just how Sam really is deep inside.

the animation in the cutscene is a bit stupid (you can see and feel the scripts taking place) but back in the days it was just cool and i do remember it very well. I keep it in memory as one of the best games i`ve played and it will stay that way... guess forever :)

The first Splinter Cell is better than Conviction. The whole stealth system that was in this game was removed in Conviction. This sucks. I love this cutscene alot.

The thing I miss most about the series is the technobabble, both in the dialogue and the little notes and computer files you picked up on your OpSat.

The progression to more-action based gameplay has made the series more exciting story wise, but it has lost something in transition.

Actually, Metal Gear Solid, was one of the first stealth games ever created. And it literately is (according to the majority of gamers and sales) the best game ever made. MGS gave birth to this.

Actually it's stealth...research it. Shouldn't call people out of their names, especially when you do not know what you're talking about. Stealth means to remain undetected, and that is what MGS epitomizes, although I enjoy Splinter Cell's stealth a bit better; more realistic.

My opinion is that they should have had the intro updated into the CG cut-scenes rather remove it completely on ps2/GC. A thing I hated about it too was that you could never skip it. If they made it a cut-scene like that they could have you able to skip it when you already watched and don't want to again or just go into the action.
