This is incorrect, since the safest self medicated drug is not LSD, remember you only get LSD in extremely small doses, and small changes in dose are dangerous. A drug does not have to kill you to harm you, so any over the counter drug is much safer to self medicate than LSD.

No one should discount the opinion of someone on the grounds that they have not experienced LSD.

I am taking some time to try and sort it out for you. The only thing that makes you trip harder is higher levels of serotonin transmitters and receptors in your brain. I can say that this is only a theory, but it explains why LSD has different effects on different brains.

@zubtebustas your naive if you think plants won't fuck your brain because they are natural. what gets you high in mushrooms or marijuana is a chemical, the only difference in lsd is that it's not naturally occuring. datura for example is just a plant that can make you trip, but can also KILL you. and lsd is pretty soft on your physical body, it's a very pure chemical and the dosage required to get you high is very low.. it can overwhelm you psychologically of corse.

Second time was VERY visual, and mindshattering. This time was VERY euphoric, and I learned to appreciate life, but had little/no mindfuck. I feel permafried..

It also has a good record of being successful in the field of psychology and therapy, making patients more opened minded and true to their thoughts. Saying that LSD doesn't have a medical use is absurd; there could be many more medical uses that we haven't discovered yet.

Many, many people have had a large amount of trips, even hundreds. Out of the majority, how many really have developed some sort of mental illness or negative psychological side effect? Clearly, the majority of the population isn't many. For example, Dr. Timothy Leary. He tripped over 600 times and lived to be 75 without any damage done whatsoever.
