I'm re-reading The Lord Of The Flies, and now I'm almost sure that the lyrics are loosely based on the book. To be more exact in our inner tendency to act savagely and the fact that we should look for the origin of evil not in outside symbolism and creations, but in our inner self. The allusion to The Lord The Flies, the children in the video clip, and the similarity of the messages of the song and the book led me to this conclusion. What do you guys think? BTW terrific song! One of KISS fav.
