@misteright199 Tradition. In the moonshine running days, if it rained, they stayed in their garages...and "sipped the product." Those clay roads were murder when wet and REALLY dirtied up their rides.

what tires are you running...? i have never rode in the rain on the track but now were starting earlier and earlier in the year its bound to happen

Awesome! GIR is a great track, IMHO. Very short course-technical style. Nice wet riding, man! GIR is a trip when wet. Half the track is pretty much dry, then the other half is dank and puddled...AWESOME PLACE!

That was my first time ever on rain tires. My first (and only) expert wins too.

They are a must have IMO! I was amazed at how well they stuck and the amount of braking you could do.
