Hey man, not sure if you're still in to bikes, but I just got back from a 4,000 mile solo road trip up the pacific coast on my 2003 Honda Shadow 750. I VLOG'ed the whole trip if you care to check it out. Either way cool video, ride safe if you still roll on 2 wheels!!
What's wrong with his helmet??? I have a open face and full face helmet, any serious riding a full face in the way to go. You don't have bugs or rocks from truck flying in your race or wind trying to lift your glasses.
@tiraha01 If you're going to fall or wreck like that, I think your face, nose, chin, etc... would be the least of your worries.
I've been riding for over 20 years and had a few good wrecks and always ended up doing a tuck n roll. I've ridden bicycles, horses, and played many sports and I guess you just learn to fall to protect your head. Needless to say a head or face injury can happen, no doubt, but I think riding with or without a helmet should be a free choice. Especially in America.
Can these Honda Shadow Spirit VT750DC motorcycles sit at idle for a long time in lots of several consecutive stop light sections without overheating? Also, will the engine not overheat in very slow traffic, lasting hours, where air doesn't go through the radiator?
Kung ganyan lang sana ka-understanding misis ko about me buying a bike... lalo ko mamahalin misis ko... kaso sabi pag bibili ako bike... lalaga daw nya makina tapos papa-higop sa akin ang sabaw....
Just get a nice black helmet. Open face or closed is fine, though I would suggest closed both for safety and since a stock shadow doesn't have a windshield. Goggles don't protect your mouth from bugs....
I have an HJC helmet. Not too expensive and very good quality.
I have a closed-face HJC helmet too. I am a beginner and my bike is a 2008 Spirit 750. I am so glad I got the closed face helm. It has already saved me from taking a bee to the face. It looks cool as hell too black with grey flames.
Nice wheels bro, keep it in the wind!

Yeah man! Too much talking and too less action. You seem to be too apprehensive to ride your new bike.

I bought the same exact bike about a month ago, I love mine. The only thing I suggest is peel the stickers off of the tank.

What kind of helmet would you suggest? I'm getting a Honda Shadow soon and want to look cool, too.
