  • I DO NOT LIKE Rick Santorum. Ugh.

  • Mrs. Santorum is an attorney. So I'm not surprised. Besides $500k in a lawsuit for a back injury is peanuts. Everyone knows you start high and negotiate downward. In any event perhaps this caused Mr. Santorum to reconsider his position. If he still advocated for a $250k cap after his experience then I would be outraged. If this is the best you've got on Santorum. Then he is my candidate!

  • It is truly unfortunate that outrageous hypocrites like Santorum are not subjected to their moronic and self serving proposed legislation. Would it not be beautiful to have Santorum permanently crippled by medical malpractice and unable to sue for more than $250,000? Scum like Santorum who feel that they are above the laws or rules should be prevented from serving in public office.

  • It would be better if you could agree with the hospital/doctor beforehand on this stuff, like how disputes would be handled, how much you could sue for, etc, rather than enforce your preferences on the entire population through law.

  • You want War with Iran? Vote anyone but Ron Paul, you will get that War. They are putting everything in place right now for that War. WW3 is coming, Vote Ron Paul to stop this War.

    Ron Paul 2012

  • You got no room to point fingers you commie SOBs.

  • They lack empathy.... Duh?

  • Cenk, you shouldn't cite the judge overturning the decision of the jury as if it's damning evidence that Santorum's wife sued for too much, the Judge could very easily just be a corporate douche bag who isn't interested in giving ANYONE fair compensation from a company that has wronged them.

  • didn't this happen before?

  • Tort Reform is not about frivolous lawsuits. It is all about the money. Money that the Lobbyist provide your politician of choice (Dem, Rep, Ind) to further their interest. T R makes almost everyone is happy. The Corp has no accountability, the Politician gets the money he needs to be re-elected, and we get it up the rear. Our rights r stripped away in favor of money hungry scum. They tout Tort as a success, & it is if you don't mind our most vulnerable becoming collateral damage. Wake UP

  • We dont need tort reform we need over-zealous attorney and legal remedy reform, CAPS!!!

First order of business, get the ACLU Harvard zealot out of office.

  • Perhaps it's YOU who feigns no empathy as you send a politician to loot your neighbors.

  • To be fair, chiropractic isn't a real medical practice.

  • An EXCELLENT documentary on the BS that is "tort reform" is Hot Coffee. Google it. You see how tort reform was created by big business.

  • Tort reform = preventing a jury of your peers from determining your amount of loss in $.

  • Not surprised the Santorum's would be gullible enough to try chiropractic. If alternative medicine were proven effective it wouldn't be "alternative", just medicine.

  • @VeronicaDwight No he's not: watch?v=wh58HAz_LfI&list=LLlqyN3pbu4jYfhCjzRkeXcw

  • @TheRemoteMower Yeah, totally realistic after Huntsman's total lack of support and Paul's tweet to him...delusional idiot...

  • END AGENDA 21

  • AND FUCK THE YOUNG TURKS AND ENJOY USING YOUR OBAMANOID MONEY NOTES TO WIPE YOUR ARSE WITH

  • @MsTsarbomba CAPS LOCK!!!

  • @MsTsarbomba weird kid...

  • @timesplitters333 Whats weird? That your some dumbarse fooled by the Communists and the New World Order?

  • @MsTsarbomba yea thats why weirdo..

  • @timesplitters333 Enjoy wiping your arse with your Obama money dickhead

  • FUCK THE COMMUNISTS AND FUCK THE NEW WORLD ORDER

  • lmfao....can we rename republicans to douche nozzles already XD....fuckers are so blatantly hypocritical except may be ron paul

  • Well, frivolous lawsuits are definitely a thing that exists, especially in America and the UK.

  • That's my WIFE Dawgggg!!!!!...LMFAO.

  • Youtube's attempts at transcribing audio never cease to amuse me. If you haven't already, check out the interactive transcript on this video.

  • Doctor Ron Paul!

  • @VeronicaDwight Yeah, he's inconsistent as well. Thanks for pointing it out! xD

  • @niriop Dr. Ron Paul is the ONLY consistent candidate -- that is what I am pointing out.

  • Are there any good chiropractor? My understanding is they are all frauds.

  • Watch the documentary Hot Coffee. You will see that the woman who reportedly 'just sued for a coffee burn' at MacDonalds had much of her thighs and groin burnt away! It was serious and she could have died. The idea of 'tort reform' is based on lies by guilty corporations. There are far fewer 'frivolous lawsuits' than they would have us believe. And of course, ANY lawsuit would be perceived as 'frivolous' by the guilty party.

  • @UberNoodleX Agreed, but imo regarding the coffee, it was still mainly her fault. It was more out of luck they found a technicality on the temperature, that they were able to to convince the jury that Mc's were more at fault. Case of scrutinising on the temperature of supposedly pouring boiling water over yourself is ludicrous. What would have made more sense is the examining the container. Maybe things like how it breathed or how prone to spillage.

  • @TheGaraiden Actually, that wasn't the story at all. She was hardly negligent in the careless manner the company and bought politicians and lobbyists claimed. And the coffee itself was far hotter than usual coffee a person would make at home. McDonalds was negligent and irresponsible, and then they legally silenced her and went on a campaign of misinformation, lying about how she injured herself.

  • Insantorum took a dead baby home and made his with and kids play with it and sleep with it, enough said.

  • Sorry cenk, but it was his wifes decision to sue for that amount and if his wife wanted to support him she would have sued for less than 250k

You can only play a hand with your own cards

  • He was a "bat doctor"? No wonder she got hurt. Geesh.

  • "that's my wife doge" "not you riff-raff" lol

  • Santorum can never win a general election.

    He looks like Satan

  • @pooyan6969 hey don't say that that's an insult to satan

  • @pooyan6969 Perhaps he is Satan.. So Vote for Freedom = RON PAUL 2012

  • @osvald17 How is being controlled by the states freedom?

  • @pooyan6969 santorum is satan ...

  • As if Santorum and his wife didn't have enough money already...

  • Is there an ass eating party :)

  • First!

  • i dunno Cenk always does this trying to show the hypocracy of conservatives - like when senators complain about earmarks in general and then try to get them for their state - but isn't that two different thing: first the attempt to try to change the system that excesses for all avoided - but than if the system stays the same, you take everything the system gives you - even if you think in general its a bad system - you don't want to miss on its benefits

  • The poor and the middle class voting for the Republicans are gluttons for punishment.

  • Cenk really hates Santorum's guts.. He actually predicted that Santorum had no chance earlier. Now he's sore that Rick's going forward in the polls..lol

  • @drdilipabraham Santorum is a shitbag. I don't blame Cenk. I hate him as well.

  • Problem with this story is that its still his wife that sued. Not him. Too much speculation on Cenk's part. Go with a different story.

  • @radargab Wrong. In Pen. personal injury settlements/judgments are community property, which means that money/suit involves Rick. Also, I am certain she included lost of consortium due to her being married to Rick. Again, the suit directly involves her husband, Rick. So saying that it was her suit and not mine and therefore the hypocrisy doesn't attach is completely ignorant. Rick is just another Repub/Religious extremist that believes it's justified when he does it but not for anyone else.

  • @VITRUVIANMANNOLA

You're completely right in all the technicalities of law. It's just that the underlying spirit of the story reads "Rick Santorum's Wife has beef with Chiropractor". The subject here is Rick Santorum's wife. Therefore, I don't really care. Yes she's married to him. Yes they share finances. But I'm going to continue to judge people based on their individual actions, and calling this an individual action of Rick Santorum is misleading. The story is weak sauce.

  • @radargab Santorum said he supported his wife.

  • Cenk's empathy point is well made.

  • Few people turn down free money. Is this supposed to be shocking?

i support tort reform. i can't say that i know what the limits should be, but i think there should be SOME limit. You shouldn't be able to enrich yourself because your doctor messed up. The law should cover enough to "make you whole", not to make you a whole lotta money.

    /democrat

  • Far be it from me to stop criticism of Santorum, but didn't TYT do this exact same story before?

  • @nyfachris81 It's worth doing twice lol

  • Fuck Ron Paul.

  • @restlesspride666 ...and the horse he rode in on.

  • @restlesspride666 How thoughtful... fuck you smartypants.

  • @wordlyfe Nutjob.

  • I back my family in public even if I tell them they are wrong in private. That's family, comes before everything else.

  • Chiropractors aren't physicians and no medical insurance covers them. Thus tort doesn't apply to them in the sense of the word.

  • @hasiticninja Caps on damages have nothing to do with whether one has insurance - or if the practitioner has malpractice insurance. They are based on the damages attributable to the malpractice/tort. You might be conflating sueing your own insurance company - i.e. first party benefits - for failing to pay a claim for medical services owed which is not related to tort reform. However, many insurance companies do pay for chripractic, so you are wrong in yet a third way.

    FAIL

  • @hasiticninja My insurance, "Anthem Blue Cross" of Calif covers them. The coverage is limited to 12, or 24 visits a year. However, Chiropractic is so cheap, I fail to see much use for insurance for it.

  • @Rabsputin what makes Ron Paul a religious cunt retard? That he has a religion at all? How has he tried to enforce his religious views on people? I bet you can't give me one example. Shut your stupid fanatical atheist ass up.

  • @DemonicPuppet83 "what makes Ron Paul a religious cunt retard?"

i never called him a retard but if you like to add that i don't mind ;)

he denies one of the best established parts of science based on his bullshit beliefs, this makes him a religious cunt. if he denies something which has consensus in the scientific community (a community which bases what it says on facts and evidence) what else will the crazy old fuck deny? gravity?

he's a fucking tool, as are his supporters, including you.

  • And still (idiot) 50% vote for GOP.

  • Comment removed

  • When are people going to wake up and realize that this is typical behavior by many a politician? I've been saying it for years and years (as have many others) that all the rules, principles, ethics, values, etc., that they preach and harp about are for OTHER people -- people with no connection to them. And yet still, despite tons of evidence supporting this, too many people blindly and obediently follow these so-called leaders.

  • To be fair to Santorum (not that the scumbag deserves fairness) if you dislike a rule or a law, but still use it to your advantage while it's in place, I don't think that really makes you a hypocrite.

For example, Larry Bird said he hated the 3-point-line and thought it ruined basketball--that never stopped him from taking a 3-pointer though, did it? The reason being he would've handicapped himself if he were the only one not shooting 3-pointers. It was a part of the game, so he used it.

  • @eleutheromaniac Stated succinctly: don't hate the player, hate the game. Good point nonetheless.

  • Hey Cenk, if the law wasn't changed then he had every right to sue for 500k. Another dumb video segment by TYT. Get with the program and report on REAL news...

  • @TheGoodFight916 Do you understand what hypocrisy is?

  • "My wife's chiropractor was 'a bad actor'" As opposed to the chiropractor who are good actors? Actually, I'm a bit serious about that. Chiropractic medicine is little better than a plecebo.

  • You are looking at activists and politicians of a bygone era who cared for this country, today we have politicians that are corrupted by fat cat Corporations and Lobbyists.

  • What's good for the goose is never good for the gander with politicians.

  • She is too good to be a politician.

  • You already did this story a few months back

  • Auto Captions: "i am fully supportive of my white" over snapshot of Santorum's racist gaff... Perfect!

  • @huskerbird1 im hoping for paul. But as someone who donated twice for obomba during his campaign of lies, i can not support him. Im either voting concervative or nothing at all.

  • I hate when people place Ron Paul in the same category as Republicans. There are 3 ideologies to vote for here; Democrats, Republicans, and Ron Paul.

  • @guywithface99 Also known as "No ideas, horrible ideas, and full retard."

  • @FineIllMakeAChannel Hey I am not asking you to agree with Ron Paul. I am trying to point out that there is a candidate trying to wedge a third ideology into a two party system, and the media is making it difficult for him. The least we could do was notice, and acknowledge that though his ideas might be dated, they are actually his beliefs, and what he feels is a solution. As opposed to all democrats and republicans, who have no solutions, and are simply cronies for the established.

  • @guywithface99 Well if Ron Paul is not a republican tell to take the R of his name and go independent.

  • @bumfire007 I refer you to gobberpooper's comment.

  • @guywithface99 Ron Paul is actually a libertarian but he's running as a republican because then he's much more likely to win by getting media coverage, since the media is always against anything other than the two parties

  • @gobberpooper Agreed.

  • @gobberpooper So suing to enforce the federal definition of marriage in the DOMA laws is all part of being a libertarian? How about voting against final bills after asking for millions in earmarks?

  • @wvu05 He is for DOMA because he is against any federal mandate, its not because he believes gays shouldn't be allowed to marry, but because of his belief that society would be more free if everything was determined at the state (or lower) level. That's just Ron Paul being consistent.

  • @guywithface99 Nice try, but that is not what DOMA does. It was passed in 1996 because there was a case that could potentially recognize gay marriage in Hawaii, so the point is to define it at the federal level, and tell other states not to recognize what another state does. This is a federal power grab, because it was the first time that the federal government ever defined marriage. It recognized marriage, but it let the states define it. At least be honest about what DOMA is.

  • @wvu05 If the point is to define it from a federal level than Ron Paul doesn't believe in it. He does not believe in federal government. re: every time he speaks.

  • @guywithface99 That's what DOMA does. It says that the federal government defines marriage as one man and one woman and it overrules the state's decision on gay marriage for federal purposes.

Your argument is ridiculous. Ron Paul can't be a hypocrite, so any hypocritical and bigoted stance must not be for that reason. I don't care what rationale you use, DOMA is a power grab from the states, and Ron Paul supports it. You can put your fingers in your ear and sing, but that doesn't make it false.

  • @wvu05 sure, because being a member of any party doesn't mean that you have to abide by every view that is supposed to be held by that party. That's the big problem, you have members of these parties who refuse to change their views because then they wouldn't be loyal to their party, but that's bullshit. You should never make up your mind about a topic before hearing the issue and getting the facts, which is what congress is doing right now

  • @gobberpooper You are talking about philosophy, but my point is (and I can find a lot of other examples) that Ron Paul is not a libertarian, but a paleo-conservative. Except for drugs, I can't think of one area where Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan disagree, and no one ever called Buchanan a libertarian. If you can find another difference, let me know, but I haven't seen any.

  • @wvu05 pro-gay marriage, pro-stem cell research, legalization of prostitution and drugs and less government regulation and involvement in the economy, especially ending the Federal Reserve. So essentially little federal involvement in society and economy, which is libertarianism. Republicans want little economic involvement and heavy social involvement, Democrats want heavy economic involvement and little social involvement.

  • @gobberpooper no he's a republican that's why he's running as one, because he's just like every other right wing idiot, he's a prolife, homophobic, and hell i bet he's a creationist just like the rest of them too. Stop rooting for the wolf in sheep's clothing

  • @MakisOfEquinox Well okay. He's always been against the Middle East war and has a more isolationist view, was one of the only republicans who voted against the Patriot Act, is in favor of legalizing prostitution and marijuana, is anti-drug-war, wants to end the Federal Reserve, favors stem-cell research, and is pro-gay marriage. Yes he is pro-life, because in his residency he witnessed a late-term abortion and was traumatized. Republican?

  • @gobberpooper he is MOST DEFINITELY not "pro-gay marriage" and just because he is "traumatized" gives him no right to take away someones right to do with as they please to their body, also i would bet my life he's just as much of a bought lap dog as rick perry or the rest of the right and most of the democrats.

  • @gobberpooper He wouldn't be included in any debates if he was a 3rd party candidate and he would also spend most of his money just trying to get on the ballot.

  • @guywithface99 ron paul is in the insane religious cunt category along with the other republican nominees.

fuck ron paul and his dark ages bullshit.

  • @Rabsputin yes but he doesn't bring any of that into policies. he doesn't believe in gay marriage, but that's his personal religious opinion, he doesn't believe that the federal government has a right to determine that, especially not based on the religious beliefs of the president

  • @gobberpooper "yes but he doesn't bring any of that into policies."

if you believe that then you're more naive than ron paul is when he talks about his imaginary sky daddy.

OF COURSE he's gonna bring it into his policies!

  • @Rabsputin No, because he never has

  • @gobberpooper really? why is he pro-life then?

  • @Rabsputin that's his personal belief, which he doesn't allow to interfere with his policy making. you don't understand what I'm saying. Ron Paul believes that marriage is just between a man and woman, but thinks that the government shouldn't interfere in personal lives, so gay marriage should still be legal.

killing a pregnant woman is considered a double homicide, so legally if that counts as murder then shouldn't abortion? that's his line of thinking policy-wise, not because of his religion

  • @guywithface99 Democrat and Republican is the same ideology.

  • @soulofshiver Hell, can't argue with you on that.

  • @guywithface99 I disagree, there are three schools of thought, but they are not that. They are Marxist, Keynesian and Austrian. These are the three main schools of macro economics and currently, most people in power, Democrat or Republican, are Keynesian believers. The Occupiers can be put into the Marxist group for the most part, but Ron Paul goes under the group of the Austrian school. This is the same school that Ronald Reagan believed in and is probably the most underrated heterodox school.

  • @guywithface99 Translation Kuropt politicans who say thire libral. Kuropt politicans who are idiots. And libral anarchist

  • @guywithface99 If he doesn't want to be in the same category as a Republican then he shouldn't run as one. And he is the definition of a Republican, small government, no social programs... Republican

  • @guywithface99 Archie Bunker..I mean uhmm Santorum wants blacks and gays 2 to know their place. Us negroids don't knows no better Master Sir! 48 Laws of Power Transgression- A enemy must never reveal his true intentions, even if you are a self righteous hypocrite demanding citizens to bow at your Supremacist doctrine.

Ron Paul is a threat to gov. but he expose their true colors. "Man judge another person just to hide their own skeleton" from book quote Mind Fuck: 12 Advantages for Control

  • @guywithface99 There's also the Green party...

    It works in Europe ;)

  • @daddyleon Not to mention Canada has like 5 parties, including one that is a French separatist movement (or used to at least, not sure). Point is, its good to have a number of different ideas, whether you see them as good, bad, or just stupid, its worse to not have them at all. This two party system has us in a corner.

  • @guywithface99 Yea... and it's just plain rediculous.

  • @guywithface99 Ah yes, the empty suits, the crazies, and the crazy with lucid moments. Democracy inaction.

  • @guywithface99 you mean socialists, communists or Freedom (Ron Paul)

  • @muslimgiga how is freedom = to ron paul if he wants to take away a womans right to choose and gay marriage, sorry you're an ignorant bigot

  • @MakisOfEquinox "women's right to choose"? what about the living being inside her's "RIGHT TO CHOOSE" who speaks for the baby? Don't give me "life begins yadda yadda". Abortion is murder. If you support abortion, you might as well support a parent's right to kill his or her kids before they are 18. It's pretty much the same thing...

  • @muslimgiga HA abortion is not murder, it is not a human yet and even if it was is it really better than the kid most likely having a bad childhood or being unwanted? & you say they can put it up for adoption but then that just makes those facilities overflow. Furthermore, youre being a complete and total idiot a fetus is a fetus, not a human the mother should have the right to do with it as she pleases until it is able to survive outside the whom.

  • @MakisOfEquinox one word. RESPONSIBILITY. You make such a poor case of justifying murder because you don't understand that word.

Close your damn legs if you want to not have an abortion. The Federal government shouldn't pay for your damn mistakes and choices of sleeping with 10 men.

  • @muslimgiga anyone's abortion shouldn't be paid for by the gov unless it was rape. If the person is paying for it themselves then that's THEIR choice &who's the gov to impose that just because some people whined about how it's against what their fairy tale books says is right and wrong,& to the comment about"closing your legs" anybody should be able to have sex with whoever they please. personally i am a guy who is happy with who i got but if someone wants to fuck a million people then so be it

  • @MakisOfEquinox hmm...well I guess your against obamacare then. No way I'm paying my taxes for someone else's damned mistakes. I'd rather pay HIGHER TAXES to keep a child alive than pay for an abortion.

  • @muslimgiga you realize there is no such thing as obamacare? it's a word made by the stupid right wing to make healthcare seem like a bad idea when in Europe it's a great thing and a standard, but you're apparently a brained washed right winger, look up fox news bias &come back to me &try to believe that the right wing knows what theyre doing &not what they actually are, which is a bunch of fucking arguing children. btw i am a firm believer that capitalism is great but we could learn from others

  • @MakisOfEquinox yes I know that... -__-... Obamacare was made up by Fox

  • This sucks. I'm gonna run for office. Straight up and honest campaign. Which means I'm not going to win. but I have to do something!

  • RON PAUL OR NOTHING!

  • @4rr3rful Well if nothing is better than RP, let's stick with nothing.

  • @Numbuh7 well then liberals need to live up to THEIR principles as well. Sorry but as far as TYt goes. you dont. Bigotry does not counter bigotry.

  • 301 views 857 likes??????????

  • @christopherleeism GO AWAY

  • @AFCoulthard nah i think id rather vote against TYT. I wasnt going to vote at all. But thanks to this channel I will be voting conservative. I've studdied you guys and found just as much bigotry here. You know how I feel when Cenk makes the italian voice? probably the same way you feel when santorum say 'blackgh people' Seriously. jump in front of a bus you fake lib.

  • @Kooshkff good, vote R Paul. Dont get any more conservative than that. Not a conservative in the republican establishment. Shit, the deficit they blame for Obama is largely Bush's. Yet the right denies it. This from a former Republican. I cannot go back there.

  • i know a very good Dr! Dr. Ron Paul!

  • Typical corrupt capitalists to want to legally cap the liability of malpractice, they never want to take any responsibility, just have all privileges.

  • he not a hypocrite. his wife is the one suing not him. you dont always have to agree with what your spouse do

  • I've started seeing people say they want to vote for this clown. This frightens me.

  • Rick Santorum is the emobodiment of everything and everyone I hate in America.

  • There's nothing wrong with campaigning to change the system but still taking legal advantage of it while it's around. You would be a fool not to go for the maximum amount of money you can obtain.

  • in fact, if Santorum becomes he nominee and paul doesnt run independant im going to vote for him. I personally cant stand the guy, but i will vote for him as a stupid tax on all of you.

  • @waltermh111 no its called the wife threw him under the bus. He might still agree with hose principles but hell hath no fury. Obviously he looks week now but you guys are just taking turns kickin him in the balls now :P. Unless you believe the man should make all the decisions, dear TYT fake libs, your all hypocrites yourselves.

  • @Kooshkff dear retard, go jump into some hydrochloric acid. Thank you

  • @Nebbyker "you let her break them." Well he COULD have beat her until she lowered her demands. But then youd be calling him a wife beater. I understand you have rage but dont turn it into stupid rage. Obviously he wouldnt be getting any ifir the rest of his life if he publically denounced her. The wife was cracking the whip leave the poor guy alone.

  • @Nebbyker his wife sued, not him. Im guessing you arent married. Again: NOT THE SAME PERSON. Its amazing how stupid TYT followers are willing to be to support them.

  • It's interesting that the "conservatives" believe medical malpractice is an object for federal regulation. The provision of medical care in your doctor's office is a transaction in interstate commerce?

  • another serial hypocrite

  • Rick Santorum is as unserious a candidate as HerbaCain and Paris Hilton.

  • i could call rick santorum a massive asshole, but that would be an insult to assholes everywhere, the only fitting insult to call him is his own name, be all like "HEY RICK SANTORUM! YOUR SUCH A RICK SANTORUM!"

  • FOX lied to me!

    ... Again.

  • A little fact in Iran there are Persian Jews living in Iran and Israel is willing to kill them all by fighting Iran with America.

Persian Jews (Hebrew: פרסים‎) are Jews historically associated with Iran, traditionally known as Persia in Western sources.

Judaism is one of the oldest religions practiced in Iran. Today, the three largest concentrations of Persian Jews are found in Israel, the United States, and Iran respectively.

Know the facts you will be killing Jews in Iran 4 Israel.

  • @ChrisDasSlasher ---

And there was this Iranian diplomat who like Raoul Wallenberg/Oskar Schindler/etc saved hundreds if not more Jews from the Nazis in France.

Nobody cares, they all rant about anti-semitism.

  • If he is playing within the system I see nothing wrong with it no matter what change he has voted for... this argument just seems silly.

  • @AdsumModo Its called hypocracy and lack of principle, so no, defending Santorum is just silly.

  • @waltermh111 Then I think you are holding Santorum to a higher standard than anyone I know of. Also I think there is no doubt about Santorum being a hypocrit and lacking in both intelligence and principle.

[Bad example] I know that if I where to live in a state in US where a large part of the population carries guns I would get a gun even if I'm against weapons. I would still try to change the "rules" of the system but that doesn't mean I would intentionally put myself in a disadvantage.

  • @AdsumModo No, I dont put him to a higher standard, we insult them all for the same reasons.

Its not like hes getting it harsher than the others just because we dont mention all of them each time we mention each of them.

  • Right wing republican is a hippocrit? That is something Fox news never told me
