hey man, excellent lesson, and very nice tone. ive known how to play this song for a good while now, but im mostly a guitarist/drummer, i love bass though. this song is the only thing that really gives me trouble with this, but my left hand seems to get tired really fast on this song... do i just need to play it more or am i doing something wrong? my theory is that its just the extra stretch but id love to know what you think the problem might be

It's an Ibanez Prestige SR1000EFM. The neck is SSSSweet! Very thin, with fast action. Hard pressed to find a smoother neck on any bass. Fender Jazz will edge it out with a little warmer tone, but the action on this is unbeatable. Has Bartolini Custom active pickups.

Nice! Just last August I picked up an Ibanez BTB 670 and I am amazed by it, my friend has a few ibanez guitars that I've messed around on, there is nothing that I've played that play as well as Ibanez.

Great, glad i could be of help. There is an online metronome that is free as long as you have java, if you dont, it can be downloaded for free. I highly recommend learning songs with the metronome first. Can maximize your timing potential with incorporating it into your daily practice drills, etc.
