If you'd use braided line, you could just hold the line tight (with ur hand) pop it and ur free. Extremely quick and once u got it down u wont hesitate to throw into ANYTHING!. Ive had the same spool of power pro 2lb diameter line on my crappie rig for almost a year now

i usually let a little slack pull the between the first rng and the reel then i kinda set the hook but at the same time let my line from my hand go
