I saw Reptar at a house party in Athens a couple of years ago. They had everybody jumping and dancing so hard that the wood floor of the house broke! There was a big sagging spot in the middle of the living room- the crowd had to hold up the keyboard while he was playing it! AWESOME band- some of the best live performers I've ever seen!

It will take a few days/daze for the locals to comprehend what they heard and get behind this band and request that they return again and again. I agree with HeidiIvy -I don't usually like songs from a band this instantaneously (first listen) but these guys satisfy the kind of vibe I've been into lately....an interesting blend of The Black Keys, Dead Weather, the National, David Byrne and Brian Eno, the Kills, the White Stripes, Julian Casablancas, Bon Iver, Dan Auerbach's solo stuff (yes, Black Keys frontman), She & Him, CocoRosie, Brandi Carlile and Lissie.
