  • you can get both Things To Come and this for $27.99 ea. here:

    Syn-Phonic google for url.

  • I saw strippers strip to this (and sang along! :0)

  • Had some special days with Keiran (RIP) running his drums around !!!

Never made it big in England !! All V Talented ..................

  • When I bought this album in the 70's, noone I knew in Australia had heard of them, except the guy in the music store who suggested it to me. (In those days, the guys in the store knew all the customers' tastes. He was bang on with mine - this is an ALL TIME favourite. Brilliant! Thank you - I've just bought the CD from Amazon. Still got the vinyls of both albums for keepsakes. I'll give them to my daughter when I'm gone so she can have a giggle at how we listened to music back then.

  • Side two of psi-fi is, to this day, an amazing piece of work.

  • Funky!!!!!

  • Wish you could still buy it on CD I tried to order it and it took the record store two years to get back to me telling me it was no longer available.. But I still have it on vinyl...First heard it at a friends place and the next day myself and Mike MacDonald went out and bought it ..LOVE it to this day the band was way ahead of time...and not many folks in Ottawa Canada know about them.....

  • @HayTomHay My friend and I are sitting here thinking the exact thing! lol

  • @HayTomHay wishing one could buy it on cd i mean lol

  • @HayTomHay wishing one could buy it on cd i mean lol

  • I have Really enjoyed Seventh Wave since I bought the LPs in the 70s.

I missed the US rerelease on CD in 1999 and could never find the CD for under $40. (Japanese Import & I've been lookin' since 2002.)

The MP3 version just doesn't cut it. Not enough Dynamic Range. Wish my album didn't have all the hiss/pops from being played so much.

Glad to hear it on youtube, but this is just a shadow of how it should sound.

  • I usually do not coment videos and music on youtube-now I do; Psi-fi by Seventh wave IS SOMETHING OUTSTANDING !!! it was one of the best produced album ever and with an different-outstanding kind of music. I have loved it since I first heard it around 1977-78.

  • i know the pianist of this band "brian gould" works at my school lol

  • @dante142 Same xDD

  • Psi-FI was always my favourite album of all time. Bought the original Vinyl back in the 70s because I liked the cover. Got the CD now. Pity they didn't get around to making some more stuff.

  • still have this on vinylbut never play it still love it not as dated as some from 70's great to hear again

  • This is gooooood.

  • Paid $1.00 at Mall store back when first introduced. Didn't make it so well I guess, landed in the dollor bin. My gain. Brand new, and still in mint condition. Played it once, then taped it the second time and put it away forever. Maybe bring it out to make a CD copy.

  • i bought this album from the cover alone, under the influence of lysergic acid dythalimide 25 ;)

  • Wow! This band were way ahead of their time...Brilliant listening to it again...I'm going to buy it :-)

  • Finally ! ! It Sounds As Good As it Did Then ! ! !

  • Oh lord. Over 30 years since I first encountered this marvellous band and still their music is as bright. This happy find will move me to find someone to transcribed my vinyls to CD.

  • great to hear this on youtube. Very much from my era, I still cherish the original vinyl LPs by 7th wave.

  • this is glorious....always will be

  • My god.. I've not heard this since the 70's.. I loved this albumn to bits.

  • The album is great, but MANIFESTATIONS is my pick. I wonder why it's not here, or elsewhere.

  • wow i used to listen to this when i was a kid.i am just stunned to have found it ,can the cd,s be bought anywherer

  • both albums are on japanese import

  • Have both albums as well.

This track excels with it being in stereo, something they use well on both albums.

    excellent stuff.

  • This sounds so good after all these years! So sorry to hear about Kieran dying. I used to listen to this alot as I worked in Chalk Farm Studios all those years ago. I hope you are all well, Ken, Vic, Hugh, Paul, Richard, Tony. What days those were!

  • This is absolutely great stuff. I´ve got both albums, and this reminds me on my earlier days, when no one of my bones hurts.

    Thanx for posting this treasure

  • glad to hear it ;)

  • I finally managed to get the "Things to come" CD, but it cost me an arm and a leg. I particularly wanted the track "premonition" which I thought suitable for a Vid here, being suitably creepy sounding!

See my "The spectre on the Tor" vid., to hear it. Alas, I had to shorten the track a little.

I would have made it a response here, but I'm peeved at so many rejections of other videos that I haven't bothered on this occasion.

    Mike.

  • wounderful to get in touch with an old friend, though hes only a vinyl.... well that's not bad..

  • Kieran sadly died some years ago. The best fucking drummer in South London. Period.

The last night of No Man's Band in Clapham when Steve Waller went off to join Manfred Mann band was one of the best gigs I've ever seen. Nice to listen to this again, thanks for posting.

  • It is so hard to get their albums. it would make my year if you would upload the song return to foreverland

  • A brilliant duo - not forgotten by me !. Still great after decades - thanks for the posting!!!!

  • A long forgotten brilliant duo.

Tried to get their "Things to come" and "Psi-Fi" albums on CD., alas not easy, only Japanese imports at stonking high prices. Going to digitise the Cassette of the LP (TTC) I used to have.

  • "Psi-Fi" & "Things to come" where a revolution to me. After the LP I bought the cd as well, a real masterpiece. Sad enough I couldn't find any music by the both guys. I still love theyre music. When I'm alone in my car I pump up the volume and have the time of my life...

Ken Elliot and Kieran O'Connor after more than30 years I'm still waiting to hear more of this beautifull music, please don't let me wait any longer
