When I bought this album in the 70's, noone I knew in Australia had heard of them, except the guy in the music store who suggested it to me. (In those days, the guys in the store knew all the customers' tastes. He was bang on with mine - this is an ALL TIME favourite. Brilliant! Thank you - I've just bought the CD from Amazon. Still got the vinyls of both albums for keepsakes. I'll give them to my daughter when I'm gone so she can have a giggle at how we listened to music back then.
Wish you could still buy it on CD I tried to order it and it took the record store two years to get back to me telling me it was no longer available.. But I still have it on vinyl...First heard it at a friends place and the next day myself and Mike MacDonald went out and bought it ..LOVE it to this day the band was way ahead of time...and not many folks in Ottawa Canada know about them.....
I usually do not coment videos and music on youtube-now I do; Psi-fi by Seventh wave IS SOMETHING OUTSTANDING !!! it was one of the best produced album ever and with an different-outstanding kind of music. I have loved it since I first heard it around 1977-78.
Psi-FI was always my favourite album of all time. Bought the original Vinyl back in the 70s because I liked the cover. Got the CD now. Pity they didn't get around to making some more stuff.
Paid $1.00 at Mall store back when first introduced. Didn't make it so well I guess, landed in the dollor bin. My gain. Brand new, and still in mint condition. Played it once, then taped it the second time and put it away forever. Maybe bring it out to make a CD copy.
Oh lord. Over 30 years since I first encountered this marvellous band and still their music is as bright. This happy find will move me to find someone to transcribed my vinyls to CD.
This sounds so good after all these years! So sorry to hear about Kieran dying. I used to listen to this alot as I worked in Chalk Farm Studios all those years ago. I hope you are all well, Ken, Vic, Hugh, Paul, Richard, Tony. What days those were!
I finally managed to get the "Things to come" CD, but it cost me an arm and a leg. I particularly wanted the track "premonition" which I thought suitable for a Vid here, being suitably creepy sounding!
See my "The spectre on the Tor" vid., to hear it. Alas, I had to shorten the track a little.
I would have made it a response here, but I'm peeved at so many rejections of other videos that I haven't bothered on this occasion.
Kieran sadly died some years ago. The best fucking drummer in South London. Period.
The last night of No Man's Band in Clapham when Steve Waller went off to join Manfred Mann band was one of the best gigs I've ever seen. Nice to listen to this again, thanks for posting.
Tried to get their "Things to come" and "Psi-Fi" albums on CD., alas not easy, only Japanese imports at stonking high prices. Going to digitise the Cassette of the LP (TTC) I used to have.
"Psi-Fi" & "Things to come" where a revolution to me. After the LP I bought the cd as well, a real masterpiece. Sad enough I couldn't find any music by the both guys. I still love theyre music. When I'm alone in my car I pump up the volume and have the time of my life...
Ken Elliot and Kieran O'Connor after more than30 years I'm still waiting to hear more of this beautifull music, please don't let me wait any longer
you can get both Things To Come and this for $27.99 ea. here:

I have Really enjoyed Seventh Wave since I bought the LPs in the 70s.
I missed the US rerelease on CD in 1999 and could never find the CD for under $40. (Japanese Import & I've been lookin' since 2002.)
The MP3 version just doesn't cut it. Not enough Dynamic Range. Wish my album didn't have all the hiss/pops from being played so much.
Glad to hear it on youtube, but this is just a shadow of how it should sound.
