I don't know how anyone could call Daniel Craig dull, he doesn't seem dull at all I think he just doesn't do well in particular interviews. I think its safe to say that he isn't the type of actor who enjoys interviews he seems like the sort of actor passionate about his craft but less so on the areas surrounding it like publicity, promotion and interviews. He also seems like the extremely private sort of person.

Why are people just constantly saying these last two James Bond films are shite, honestly there gooood!!! Its a new spin on the character and the 3rd film in the line was meant to be a proper James Bond with Q, the gadgets, car presented to him etc..

@amarsbarr So because Craig's Bond was less obsessed with women, didn't make use of stupidly advanced technology and actually got hurt in his action, you think it's not a Bond film? Fleming's character was cold - just like Craig's Bond. I think hes the best Bond there has been since Connery.

@woteverman32 Not at all... I thought Craig was excellent as Bond, he brought back that realism that Connery too displayed, and I found him interesting. Much better than Moore, and Lazenby. Quantum Of Solace was terrible, dont get angry now. check out the review by Mark Kermode on youtube. It felt like it was directed by the second unit, title song worst ever , disgrace to john barry's touch, editing was too faced past, story was awful, title awful, actors did a good job.

@woteverman32 and thats why it was in my eyes not a bond film, absolutely terrible. Casino Royale, sorry was very good but still I cant feel that Bond connection. Nothing to do with the gadgetry, or the women, I just tried to see that Bond film and saw it as something else.

@amarsbarr I think I understand you, and in a way I agree with you. On there own merits the new films are good action movies, and they are very different to the old ones. The quantum of solace especially had some terrible shots and plots - but I would still be happy to stick it in against the Bond franchise as a Bond film, and with another Craig film on the cards, I think so should you ;)

I mean about the new ones, I went to see the films with an open mind, completely neutral, and I think we all felt quantum was a disaster. I really am struggling to slot in the lastest film as a bond film in my mind because it's so bent? lol and comon even david arnold had me scratching my head, the music crap.

@woteverman32 There was no bond theme in there at all, just weird music that totally didn't even go with the action on the screen, take the boat chase, music wtf? awful, and when bond and camilla are in the car before he gets booted out? and the opera music when bonds escaping? what the hell!??? AND that silly plane dog fight, I was so bored by that point. people were walking out by then, the stupid dessert, the bolivian government? shit shit shit, water? all this newly eco crap.

@amarsbarr tbh casino royale is based on the first book and craig's bond is more like Ian Fleming original vision for bond so in a way that film is more of a bond film then any other

Craig declined the offer to appear on jonathan ross to promote DEFIANCE, as Ross embarrased him and made him look foolish, Dicaprio, and Tom Cruise followed after Craigs decision, as they too don't want to be humiliated
