The sad thing is, most of the cars and homes they seize are junk. It's just some poor fool who got ratted out by their "friend". The police don't have to prove that the belongings were paid for with the proceeds from drug sales, you have to prove how you paid for it, after you beat ALL the charges of course. Make an admission of guilt to stay out of prison and your stuff is gone.
The police make an accusation, and because the penalties are so severe(prison) once the accused pleads, the belongings are gone. Arrest for profit. Make an admission of guilt, lose all your stuff, or go to prison for longer than a sex offender.
There are no trials, nothing gets sent to the lab, the person just goes on probation. Then they violate their probation and go to prison. It's easy. The DA's advance their careers, its about numbers, the number of "criminals convicted", then they can go on to other things. They don't care about the people they fuck over, or whether they deserve/belong in prison.
Whenever there is talk of decrim/regulation these are the people that oppose it, the prosecutors/police. They say things like "its dangerous", "it's a gateway drug", "protect the children" and so on. All lies.
The truth: These drug cases are easy, the DA's call them "cut and dried". The penalties are so severe and often involve a mandatory minimum prison sentence, for example all of boston is a "school zone", the accused come into court, plead guilty and take the deal thats offered them.
good point but, i think it depends on your location, in california (the only place i can speak for) pretty much any type of cannibis you could want is easy to get a hold of due the medical mj movment. Because mj is being used as a medicine out hear it is used to treat varouis illnesses, which in turn leads to a HUGE variaty in cannabis strian. In other parts of the county/world ??? i dont know???
Some think he will, he's made some somewhat favorable comments on it but then his people refute them the next day. I made a video about it, he's lukewarm at best, certainly no marijuana reform hero that some think he might be. This DA is in the same party as Obama, a Democrat like most of them in MA, he's awful on marijuana reform.
makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over to see that people are finally waking up to the truth, and seeing the lies as the government propaganda that it is! We need more enlightened people to help educate this nation of brainwashed sheople. The truth IS out there, it is up to us to spread it. Big business and money has corrupted our government to the point of no return, unless we remove the social stigmas associated with hemp, nothing will change.
