  • Plaintiff's a boss.

  • the guy at 9:35 over the shoulder of the plaintiff is either yawning or just reached a climax through means of masturbation

  • The plaintiff's swag enterance knows no bounds.

  • @Seldanas pure swag

  • 2 very calm low key guys and the lady is screaming as usual. funny.

  • the guy that does the closing questions is awesome with the tough upfront questions he asks, they are always entertaining.

  • Just because a building has double doors doesn't mean you have to open both doors as wide open as they go, just opening them enough for you to get through is enough, unless of course your wide enough that you HAVE to open both wide to fit.

  • That's allright the D has lots of cash living with his daddy

  • The plaintiff looks overweight

  • orson wells

  • wtf is this shit

    Judge judy > this shit

  • Defendant's head and lower face is a size X-Large and his upper face and eyes is size X-Small.

  • WHY do people open those doors so husky (huskily?) ? Maybe they look like they're going to be heavy, but they're actually light so people over compensate or something.

  • This whole "Craigslist" thing seems to get a lot of people in strange situations. I keep seeing the same kind of stuff on these court shows.

  • @Chumpster1981 Craigslist is like the scumbag black market yellow pages.

  • Haha you can tell the defendant starts to tune out halfway through and realize if he just takes the beating from JM he gets to keep the 355 and the show will repay the plantiff. smart jackass

  • @AmericanPowerBase Not as much as ebay!!!

  • Defendant is a nasty Jew.

  • One thing for sure this student doesnt suffer.

  • Always good to walk in like a total fucking douchebag when you enter the peoples court Chad!

  • what is it with craigs list? its like every court case has that in it.

  • And this guy got into an Ivy League school? Yikes. Guess those schools don't necessarily take the best and brightest.

  • Ha ha.

  • When I heard "craigslist" I just rolled my eyes.

  • @bhstone1 The loser's payment by the show is usually reduced by the amount of the judgement and they only are paid the balance. So they do "pay" but just on a less direct way.

  • i know right, he was trying to make an impression i guess.

  • Did she seriously read out HSBC bank?

  • The Plaintiff totally reminds me of Det. Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio) from Law and Order. Which is, of course, an absolutely wonderful thing.

  • I always get sad when she says "I am going to order you to pay..." because that's simply not the truth. The show pays, not the defendant.

  • @bhstone1

Still, the record of a lost civil is forever on his record. You know how some credit apps ask if you've ever been sued?...

  • @misslavenderrose I don't think I've ever seen that question. Also, it doesn't go on to his credit reports because this is not a court of law. It's binding arbitration, which doesn't get reported.

  • @bhstone1 WRONG -- the loser pays, not the show. It's a legit court case. If the show paid, why do the losers always seem so pissed off? They (the losers, not the show) DO pay.

  • @ladykws ou don't know much about these so-called court cases. It looks like a court but it's really binding arbitration. The losers does not pay. It even says so in the credits to the show. Read the wikipedia article which says: At the end of each show, the following disclaimer appears:

"Both the plaintiff and the defendant have been paid from a fund for their appearance."

  • whoah I love the laws of the state! double deposit return.

  • Did the Plaintiff say, "I saw the Defendant's ad on Craigslist"? Wow... Craigslist strikes again!!!

  • @jayci68 craigslist is a legit place to find housing....ive been in college 4 years now and used it multiple times to find housing, including the one i live at now. most of my friends in college do that too.

  • Plaintiff is the size of a house, he should have rented himself.

  • i don't care harveys doing his job. The guy in the hall is deff rude.

  • The Defendant is a dumb ass. If he just gave the Plaintiff 355 back in the beginning, he wouldn't have to pay 710 now. Also, the Plaintiff is ungrateful for what he did get cause he didn't even know he could get back double the damages...wow

  • The plaintiff is trying to get a free ride. Like the judge said, you don't continue to live in the apartment for several months while knowing that the landlord is actually the bank. He should have got out of the apartment asap and sue the defendant for the remain of his advance. The bank, meanwhile, being the rightful landlord can sue the plaintiff for the rent collected.

  • The plaintiff lived 3 months rent free. What else does he want.

  • I'm not sure why the P thought the ruling was unfair...Like the judge said, people have to pay for where they live. Period. The P even admited that he thought it was kinda sketchy, but he wanted the discount. I am glad he got his deposit back though.

  • I wonder if any of the plantiffs or defendants ever have to fart.

  • I love the way JM says "Yes, I know, it was very traumatic" at 8:45 lol!

  • by your logic... it is faster to write down the numbers 725+725.... you cant just see 1450. in my head that is incredibly obvious. as easy as 2+2. i know everybody is not the same when it comes to math, you shouldnt need a calculator for simple addition or multiplication.

  • I dozed off a bit during this case, and in my dreamy state, the Plaintiff's voice made me think that the plaintiff was Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

  • @13Danjiri Hey, yeah you're right!!!! He does sound like Phillip Seymour Hoffman. I love him (the Plaintiff, not so much).

  • oops... i just re-read my statement.. and i can write those down and add them... but i meant in my head... seeing them written... argh.

  • @ jillhbaudhaan: He DOES look like someone I've seen before, but I can't place him! Not just his looks, but his mannerisms seem very familiar. LOL!

  • This student in this video looks REALLY familiar, anyone know him??

  • hahahahaha the lovely judge cant add 355 and 355 in her head ... she has to write it down. 700+10 is all i see when i look at those numbers.

  • @hackajim '700+10 is all I SEE when I LOOK at those numbers'.

    Interesting.

  • @elvickRULES i get your meaning.... see... look. and I do as a matter of fact. visualize numbers. put them in your mind and look at them. a judge should have no problem focusing their mind. see the numbers in your head.... add them. its really not that difficult.

  • @hackajim Of course it's not difficult to do. However, writing it down is a lot faster and easier than doing it in your head in certain cases. 2 + 2, not so much. Larger numbers, it's a lot easier to find the easy solutions, like what you said with the 700 + 10, when it's written down.

  • @elvickRULES im sorry to disagree but this is very simple... even written im probably couldn't add 32398+334329 but there is a different guy out there, who would easily call me an idiot for not knowing that quickly. and another guy who would call him an idiot for not being able to easily do 45^.5 or something crazy difficult like 39^9 .... my point is. THIS is simple. very very very simple. and i dont understand how ANYBODY could get a phd and not be able to add 2 3-digit numbers.

  • @hackajim She was able to do it idiot. It's just faster to write it down. Solving a problem fast, instead of solving one in your head so a moron on the internet can think highly of her for doing it that way instead of the faster and easier way... hmm... I wonder which is more important.

This isn't a showcase of intelligence. It's a court room, where people want to get in and get out. Using the fastest root to solve a problem is hardly a big deal and hardly makes it worth bitching about. So stfu

  • @hackajim i think she has a calculator on her desk, and doesn't want to make a mistake so she doesn't try to add in her head

  • Lol - plaintiff's entrance was hilarious...

  • @garygoodblokethe defendant is a fuckin loser

  • @garygoodbloke Lol!!! He busted through BOTH doors and never faced anyone in the audience! Hahahahaha! You're right, that was GOOD.

  • @garygoodbloke Thought so as well... Like he was Tony Fucking Soprano or something. LOL

  • @garygoodbloke LMBO! It looked like the doors were too heavy for him...

  • west philadaphia, born and raised,
