For you - if you live in US or England, then there are monasteries, most having some afilliation with Ajahn Chah. In UK there is Chithurst buddhist monastery, Aruna Ratanagiri and Amaravati, in US Metta Monastery, Abhayagiri, and I can't remember more. Very nice if you want to go forth, as it is called.
interesting...I am thinking about becoming a monk. Possibly a Lao Thervada monk, however, I want to do the reseach before I embark on something foreign. I just wanted a breif breakdown on what went on.
