Hey guys, just buy the full 2 disc dvd on ebay cos it has the full filming which this video is clearly taken from. Possible copyright infringement here. Don't worry I won't tell cos I love this stuff. I was at Nas Miramar in 92, 94 and 96. Met the real "Viper", sat in the jets and watched Tomcats burn up the California sky. Loved it.

Had a friend, a fighter pilot that was in the bar scene. I believe he went by the name of Snake but his name was Gary. He passed away in the mid to late 90's.

This may be of interest to some: a book that was just published talks about helping to film the movie. It's called "Topgun Days." (I'm the author.) It talks about being in an F-14 Tomcat squadron, going through the Topgun class as a student, going back as a Topgun instructor, and helping with the movie.
