@xuix4life There were a couple of moments like that, you are right. I don't actually recall but I know I put a picture on facebook of a fan getting his poster signed right in the middle of one of Phil's solo's. Phil's pretty amazing to sign autographs during the performance.

@lameKidification haha. i'm always tired in canada. for some reason i only get 2 hours sleep per night until the night before i leave.

@lameKidification The lighting did not help very much. There were blues lights shining on him from straight overhead, and it created dark spots under his eyes. Phil was great. The only way I could get rid of the shadows was defusing his face but it made the video look like some "dream sequence" or something. Phil had a great night with lots of interesting stuff though so thanks for watching. More to come. Also thanks for the comment, we like that.

@holyass242 Normal pickup magnets are not electromagnets and so cannot be switched off. So to demagnetize at the flick of a switch, you will probably need a guitar that has a very large battery (or plugs into a socket) and has active electromagnetic pickups. All of this would probably influence the tone more than just leaving the normal pickup in there in the first place.

@holyass242 if it was a active pickup with its own battery you could just have a kill switch, shouldnt be that hard to pull off, but i dont think there is any possible way to turn off a magnet only god knows that secret lol

@holyass242 I don't see how you can turn off a permanent magnet... Maybe if you'd replace that with an electromagnet, but that would eat batteries... Thinking about that, isn't that basically an active pickup? Anyway, even using this system, there would be some residual magnetivity.
