Well, that's the same thing you're doing, except you're sugar-coating it. You are generalizing all Asians just because of a select few that get on your nerves. Don't tell people what they can or can not sing, because everyone is their own individual and can sing whatever appeals to them. Race is just a face on the outside. hyperasiangurl,To me it does matter that you are an asian singing a selena song because most asians( not all ) have given me the impression that they dont want hispanics in their circle,stores or any involvement with them in any way. So why would an asian sing a hispanic's song and dip her chip in a latina's salsa.

An asian singing latin songs sends out a message that says, " eventhough i dont like hispanics, i will still sing their songs because i have no shame."
