This man reminds me my pastor. My pastor passed away few years ago. Members of this church should be amazed and blessed. Let's thank God He has put this man as a leader of this church to give people the daily bread. It sounds hard but it will give great fruit of justice. He is a great instrument in God's hand. He's working soo hard for believers and unbelievers alike to come to repentance, so that as many as possible can spend eternity in His presence, worshiping and crying out "Holy Holy Holy are You my Lord." @cwby4christ06 be careful not to lift up Washer to become an idol, he is not capable of loving as God does, nor is it healthy for you to say he 'walks in the light as He is in the light'. Washer may be preaching the truth one moment, but that doesn't mean everything he says is going to be correct. The Enemy is crafty. Always listen for your Shepherd's voice, not the sheep next to you who may say "Christ is here" or "Christ is there".

Paul Washer falsely teaches that if you are a Christian and you fall back into habitual sin, that you may not be a Christian after all. Hogwash...The man is deluded. If a person is born again, they will ALWAYS be born again. No one "loses salvation": because they backslide. God is able to KEEP us through it all. Paul Washer bases his salvation on how good he is before God...how good he obeys God. Folks, our righteousness comes from faith in Christ ALONE, we have no righteousness.

It will because you're faith will speak with works and you're walk with God. Hebrews 11:4 talks about great men of God who had faith in God, fear for God and showed signs of righteouness through their works. If you have faith it will show in your lifestyle and walk with God, if you have true faith.

@observingworld A right understanding of that passage, along with God's approaching any whom he has put into positions of leadership, would be to realize that God will have obedience. Those he puts into leadership are not exempted from God's commands. In fact they will be held, and are held to a more severe standard. The world may balk at those in positions of leadership, but God will not.

@observingworld God made it clear to Moses what was required. God achieved what he intended-obedience. When God has intended to kill someone, he has achieved that purpose. If it had been God's intention to kill Moses, he would have been successful. God doesn't work like man with 'plan A' or 'plan B' or 'plan etc'. God doesn't plan, but purposes. What God purposes always comes to be. What happened there with Moses is exactly what God purposed to occur.

Paul Washer Preaches the truth, but pointing out everything that the church is doing wrong is only one way of bringing repentance and conviction. There has been many great revivals and people turning to God without being told how we have failed. But when people experience the power and presence of God, they run towards him and leave dead religion behind... I see many people listen to Paul Washer and say, "wow, he is right" but their lives don't change much. Sometimes we love correcting...
But people have to hear God's truth before they can repent, it's not all experiential. Feelings are very tricky, and an experience can be illusory. Can we have an experience with God, of course, but we shouldn't make an experience our basis for revival. We need to hear the word of God, and then, if he is willing, will draw us to him. Otherwise we open the door for charismatic type shenanigans, and as well we don't always need to experience God to know he's there, sometimes near sometimes far.
Oh, no doubt they are into the word and are fine people, but far too many of them go beyond the word. I myself have serious doubts as to whether or not most of them are actually practising spiritual gifts. I believe most either make things up or even worse are demon possessed.

Osteen preaches a "prosperous gospel", Jesus never promised us prosperity but that we would suffer and be hated by the world.We ought to be contempt with what we have and not strive for bigger homes, expensive cars, newest gadgets,etc.We ought to be humble and content with the essentials in life (food, water, etc).I love Paul Washer's preaching, he explains the depravity of man and the glory of God very well.He speaks the truth.We shouldn't think highly of ourselves but only think highly of God.

You've changed the word mourn to 'tears' which then enables one to reinterpret 'tears' to the possible meaning of joy. But this is not what the word 'mourn' means. Matt. 24:30 uses the word mourn. This word is Strong's G2875 meaning 'to beat the breast in grief' not joy. They will not be pleased or joyous to see the true Jesus Christ. If the Beast will stage a false second coming then if everyone welcomes this false christ then you know he's not the True One.
There are so many Christians .But there are alot of nonbeliever's .I think that passage is referring to nonbeliever's. Most people proably know what to expect by his second coming . You are right . We don't worship or serve angels . Both angel's and humans are sevants of God . I only consider them more advanced because they know more than we do . And they have been around God and are closer to God than we are now . But God definetly love's us,its really not about how intelligent or advanced you are,so i guess you could say we're equal to angels . God gave us the earth to subdue . This man reminds me my pastor. My pastor passed away few years ago. Members of this church should be amazed and blessed. Let's thank God He has put this man as a leader of this church to give people the daily bread. It sounds hard but it will give great fruit of justice. He is a great instrument in God's hand. @cwby4christ06 be careful not to lift up Washer to become an idol, he is not capable of loving as God does, nor is it healthy for you to say he 'walks in the light as He is in the light'. Washer may be preaching the truth one moment, but that doesn't mean everything he says is going to be correct. The Enemy is crafty. Always listen for your Shepherd's voice, not the sheep next to you who may say "Christ is here" or "Christ is there".

Paul Washer falsely teaches that if you are a Christian and you fall back into habitual sin, that you may not be a Christian after all. Hogwash...The man is deluded. If a person is born again, they will ALWAYS be born again. No one "loses salvation": because they backslide. God is able to KEEP us through it all. Paul Washer bases his salvation on how good he is before God...how good he obeys God. Folks, our righteousness comes from faith in Christ ALONE, we have no righteousness.

It will because you're faith will speak with works and you're walk with God. Hebrews 11:4 talks about great men of God who had faith in God, fear for God and showed signs of righteouness through their works. If you have faith it will show in your lifestyle and walk with God, if you have true faith.

At Exodus 4 24 God announces he is going to kill Moses! The leader of the Chosen People!
God chose Moses as leader so killing Moses would have been silly. A few verses on God changes his mind and lets Moses live. Moses' wife cut off her son's foreskin with a sharp stone just in time.
It's all there and much more in the Holy Bible. If you don't know this bible passage you don't know how daft much of the bible is.

@observingworld A right understanding of that passage, along with God's approaching any whom he has put into positions of leadership, would be to realize that God will have obedience. Those he puts into leadership are not exempted from God's commands. In fact they will be held, and are held to a more severe standard. The world may balk at those in positions of leadership, but God will not.

@observingworld God made it clear to Moses what was required. God achieved what he intended-obedience. When God has intended to kill someone, he has achieved that purpose. If it had been God's intention to kill Moses, he would have been successful. God doesn't work like man with 'plan A' or 'plan B' or 'plan etc'. God doesn't plan, but purposes. What God purposes always comes to be. What happened there with Moses is exactly what God purposed to occur.

When the truth is preached people who are saved, who have the Holy Spirit inside of them, know that it is right. There is so much to learn about theology, illuminati, false religions, etc . . . but without the Holy Spirit, without actually having what Paul spends his life talking about, you will juggle these concepts fruitlessly. If you have not noticed that every day you live your just one more step to dieing. I prefer to hear pain, doom and emotional terrorism so that maybe i might turn from my selfish way of life and from my discusting sin that i desire to live in, be it in mind or in action because one day this earth will disapear and i will be in a place that there will be no more pain, doom and emotional terrorism, but only Christ my everlasting Peace, Joy and Comfort. Paul Washer Preaches the truth, but pointing out everything that the church is doing wrong is only one way of bringing repentance and conviction. There has been many great revivals and people turning to God without being told how we have failed. But when people experience the power and presence of God, they run towards him and leave dead religion behind... I see many people listen to Paul Washer and say, "wow, he is right" but their lives don't change much. Sometimes we love correcting...

But people have to hear God's truth before they can repent, it's not all experiential. Feelings are very tricky, and an experience can be illusory. Can we have an experience with God, of course, but we shouldn't make an experience our basis for revival. We need to hear the word of God, and then, if he is willing, will draw us to him. Otherwise we open the door for charismatic type shenanigans, and as well we don't always need to experience God to know he's there, sometimes near sometimes far.

Oh, no doubt they are into the word and are fine people, but far too many of them go beyond the word. I myself have serious doubts as to whether or not most of them are actually practising spiritual gifts. I believe most either make things up or even worse are demon possessed.

In a way ,i agree with you and Washner,our joy ,and pleasure is wourthless compared to obeying and serving God,and making Him happy. However,good news is not meant to be depressing or sad ,when i listen to Olstein i feel good about Christ,everyone is happy and i feel like the Gospel is what it is,(Good news).When i listen to Walshner i don't have that same feeling . Not because he is tough on sin,but just the way He preach's .

Osteen preaches a "prosperous gospel", Jesus never promised us prosperity but that we would suffer and be hated by the world.We ought to be contempt with what we have and not strive for bigger homes, expensive cars, newest gadgets,etc.We ought to be humble and content with the essentials in life (food, water, etc).I love Paul Washer's preaching, he explains the depravity of man and the glory of God very well.He speaks the truth.We shouldn't think highly of ourselves but only think highly of God.

Yeah ok. He is a good disseminator of the Word of God. No doubts there man. No doubts. But I do not believe him to be a true servant of God. He uses witchcraft like so many other wolves in sheeps clothing. Yeah, I know. Hard to believe. True nonetheless. But yeah, I agree that we should not set our hearts on the things of this world. Your spelling of 'content' cracked me up ("contempt" - uh, I think that a lot of people have contempt for what they currently have hence keeping up/w the Jones).

I've seen the 'Jedi mind tricks' that the devils servants out in the world use and him and many other TV evangelists are using the exact same things. Both are witchcraft. I've heard that a number of famous evangelists/preachers/etc are Illuminati. You know what that means right? They worship satan. I've read elsewhere that many pastors actually worship satan. Sure you would feel good when Joel Olsteen talks. Should we except God's word based on how we feel? Sounds like a deception waiting to happen. Jesus spoke of hell more time than he did heaven and the good news is God gave us a way out of it through Jesus Christ because we in our own righteousness are objects of wrath. You won't get that from Joel olsteen, but you will get that from the Bible.

Wasner has done alot of missionary work.And has preached in some dangerous parts of the world . But Olstien has done alot of good stuff too. Wasner has done alot of brave things,i'll give him that . But Washner has a pretty good life if you ask me . He acts as if Olstien is rich and laughing at real Christians and he is suffering for God . Washner has a wife ,proably a big nice house,fame,and alot of followers. So how is he diffrent from the nice and meek brother Olstien ?

Paul is just giving advice there. He is making an inference from the bible. The bible doesn't say that a person can or can't date.
You can do what you want, he just is saying from what he knows that the best way to go is court.
It is not bad to flee from sin. Jesus was not prone to sin yet we are. And Paul is just wanting to do what God wants us to do, stay pure and touch no unclean thing.

You've changed the word mourn to 'tears' which then enables one to reinterpret 'tears' to the possible meaning of joy. But this is not what the word 'mourn' means. Matt. 24:30 uses the word mourn. This word is Strong's G2875 meaning 'to beat the breast in grief' not joy. They will not be pleased or joyous to see the true Jesus Christ. If the Beast will stage a false second coming then if everyone welcomes this false christ then you know he's not the True One.

There are so many Christians .But there are alot of nonbeliever's .I think that passage is referring to nonbeliever's. Most people proably know what to expect by his second coming . But Isaiah also said that alot of people will be ashamed of their beliefs ,and repent and worship the one true God . So maybe even atheist can be saved . When we study theology and what people that believe in Universalism say,it puts a diffrent meaning to our messiah's second coming!

If Jesus would cast most of our loved one's in hell,the teaching of compassion,and love,would really be irrelevant! Jesus said be merciful like your father in heaven . If God will condemn most of us to hell,than loving our enemy's would make no sense . There are plenty of reasons to mourn,but the Gospel of Christ is not one . Olstein says the Gospel of Christ is good news,why would good news make you depressed ? I admit Jesus takes the side of the poor,depressed,unpopular,and the mourner's,because of the way they are treated . Jesus also ate with tax collector's,and prostitutes,unlike modern Christians,He didn't call them perverts,or greedy,He knew they could change!

Satan is not dumb enough to think He can beat God,if Satan is indeed the great deciever and liar(and He is),then he can't be stupid enough to think He can destroy God . o how can He beat God,by brininging more people to hell with Him. Jesus is not God . Jesus is God's Son. Why do some Christians even claim that Jesus is God ? lol. If Jesus was God ,then the Bible wouldn't even make sennse . Who told you Jesus was God ? Scripture says my father is greater than i,why would God say he is greater than himself ? The Roman Catholic Church,created the idea that Jesus was God . They are 3 separate beings but all God. They are 3 but one in mind, intention, abilities, character, but different in 'rank' and function/office - Jesus is the Advocate with the Father, the Savior of mankind. The Holy Spirit is the Convincer (to the world of their sin), the Teacher (of the Church). The Father is the greatest of all. There's more that could have been stated here but I trust you get my point of view.

I'll never condemn anyone for saying Jesus is God . But you have to understand why he is synanomous with God . We are children of God,i'm a Son of God . BUT NOT THE SON OF GOD. Jesus is THE son of God . Its not blasphemy to call Jesus God . However,Jesus is not his father . Its no big deal to call Jesus God . But we have to watch the way we say things. Or it can confuse people.

@EddyTheEdomite Jesus is actually named the Everlasting Father in Isaiah. Why? Because through the blood Christ's sacrifice the souls of the elect are being born again. Through the Seed of Christ, many souls are finding newness of life-thus making them the sons of the living God-Jesus Christ the Son of God-the Everlasting Father.

Of course we are below Jesus,Angels etc . Jesus is above all the Angel's in heaven . They're not equal to Jesus. But God is greater than Jesus . They are not equal .

Friend you are splitting hairs that don't even exist!! Have you read Jn 3:16, 1st Jn 3:1, Ep 3:18, Ro 8:35, Gal 2:20 All of that says that God loved US so much that He gave His only Son for us. I understand that you are trying to respect the preeminence of Christ. So do I, but don't make the mistake of thinking that we are second rate to God. As for angels, in Revelation, the angel tells John that he is a FELLOW SERVANT, with us. Remember that, with us, not over us. We don't bow or serve angels

You are right . We don't worship or serve angels . Both angel's and humans are sevants of God . I only consider them more advanced because they know more than we do . And they have been around God and are closer to God than we are now . But God definetly love's us,its really not about how intelligent or advanced you are,so i guess you could say we're equal to angels . God gave us the earth to subdue . And the fallen angels(demons) were jealous of us . I agree,we are important to God!

Again, the Jews who knew the Law meticulously and knew when someone was claiming to be God. They knew Jesus was claiming this. No room for interpretation. We can either go with our own understand which God says not to lean on our own understanding, or rely on God's word that lasts forever.
