I have thought about this one because i at first wondered why they were not in Latin.

I think it is to avoid the need for subtitles in the original Japanese broadcat, since he is a reoccurring character, he will perform Rituals many times and having to Sub them would take extra time as well as making it necessary for the voice actor to speak English. These are the explanations i came up with for the" why aren't they in Latin " question and i think the apply here.

@Meruchama well maybe if you did a group cosplay and you had john in his priest costume and ayako in her miko costume (you get the idea). For the most part, they wear pretty casual clothing for a majority of the anime. It would be easy to put together but not necessarily recognizable. (A true Ghost Hunt fan would probably recognize it though :) )

I am not so spoiled that I will whine about commercials. Writers, actors and other creative staff do not feed themselves with your amusement, so is good that after the writers strike, they are looking for ways to get paid for internet content. I wish though that it was not the same commercial over and over and that the commercials went with the natural pauses of the video. I think that is fair to ask.

The reason for it is simple, to make money by selling add spots during video, like commercials. If you notice the video's that have the most commercial if any at all are the ones put up by you companies that own the rights to the anime. the companies are not putting the anime up out of their own good hearts. They know people are going to put it up any way so they decided to put it up first and make money by selling commercial spots during it. YouTube gets a percent and they get the rest.
