  • @clickystudios Red won.

  • I'm new at this did Red or White win?

  • at 1:44 guy says "ebogu.com"

  • It isnt so beautiful match :(

  • I know it's part of the culture of kendo to accept defeat even when happens by a judging mistake an it's a pretty noble atitude but but this one must ahve been a very difficult to not been sad about it hahaha Ariga obviously dominate the match =/ In the kaeshi do point after the strike looks like he almost didn't belive that the flags was not up hahaha

    PS: Epic match Ariga san!

  • stupid judges canada deserved DO point at 2:01

  • stupid judges

  • excellent work!

  • but the camera men are korean...strange?

  • nothing strange about it...kendo is practised by many different nations, korea is 2nd to japan when it comes to number of ppl playing kendo/kumdo.

  • no i meant strange in a good way because im korean. thats y. no offensiveness here.

  • very good match best ive seen

    彼は非常に近いウォン

  • you would expect more from such high-level judges...right?

  • wow that was an eye opening fight i really enjoyed it thank you fr putting it up :)

  • I really think Taro Ariga deserved to win. I know this is not the pourpose of Kendo, but if they had had a Katana it would have been very different, the winner would've been Tarosan by far.

  • That kaeshi do before the katsugi kote (or whatever it was, I cannot see if it really was dekote or katsugi or tsuriage) was amazing.

  • Another good example of poor judging. In my opinion that dekgote was very poor relative to the strikes being exchanged in this fight. The level of seriousness is somewhat lacking in Takahashi-san judging from his poor defense. Great video~

  • Very inspirational video! I always wanted to try kendo, but am facing some difficulties to get that idea moving, but this video is a good thing to bring that idea back on track again!

  • wow this is the match you told me about after practice a month ago :)

very nice thanks for sharing Sensei.

  • Thank you for watching! I am glad we found this video too. As a matter of fact, I found a few good videos, so we will start posting them on the web. Thanks, Taro

  • Thanks for this video. I have heard many times about this team match a Japan almost loosing, so I am glad I can finally see it.

I really like the first katsugi kote!

  • wow, i really think that Ariga sensei did at least two ippon's,like the kaeshi do...and in several times He almost scored nice points.anyway Ariga sensei fought pretty nice there!!

  • Thank you for watching. Yes, I also thought I had a few too. After the tournament, I had a long drink with Takahashi-san at the Sayonara Party. Taro
