I really really want to learn drums but im scared it will be a waste of money incase im not good enough, im 17 and i dont play an instrument.

what do you think....should i go buy a drum set and get lessons? or go to a teachers house and get lessons with his kit?

or get a pad and practise on that(altough i could easily loose interest on that if i have no idea what im doing)

@paramorebean my opinion on you is to go and get lessons and if you see that you have rythm and if you and your drum teacher think that you are good well then get a kit :) with the pad you can only practice hand technique. so that is the last thing I think you should get ;)
