'Corner of the sky' was playing one stormy evening. My two sisters and I were talking. The middle sister got up for some reason and suddenly a big tree branch broke into the room. The sharp branch went str8 into the high-back vinyl chair she was sitting in (old school you know what kind of chair I'm talking about). If she was still sitting there the branch would have pierced her right in the chest! Thank God nature called cause I think she went to the bathroom. So, I never forgot this song!

being close to the same age as michael, i grew up listening to and loving the jackson five. it was like there were multiple michaels. there was this one, when he was young, 70's michael, there was MTV michael in the 80's and there was the older, sadder michael. i prefer this one. RIP, dear.

I just finished a 2001 autobiography by Motown's Cholly Atkins and was amazed when he wrote that he did not teach or choreograph dance steps for the Jackson's "directly". He said that they most likely did their own choreography after watching the other acts rehearse. I was shocked to hear the inhouse dance coach for Motown record's singers say that he did not have to teach his skills to the youngest act at the record company.
