Look at those tough looking Adyghe veterans. At 1:24… One of the men is missing his arm…In NONE of the movies I have watched so far has there been any portrayal of war's tragic consequences: lost limbs, disfigurement, horrible scars, etc. This video has a somewhat realistic portrayal of table manners - despite xabza traditions, these look rough.
Fuck off! U r so pissed off with us because we did not kiss ur ...lapot`?! Podonok! And regarding the other asses..jackal go and wash ur mouth before even pronounsing our name! Roja!!!!
do not try to compare history and situation in XXI of century please... If you think, that we (Poles) call to each other "Sarmatians", you are wrong!!!
In our opinion Poland and Kavkaz nations are friends!
I wrote "called" not "call". Of course I take it just as historical issue.
As for Kavkaz, the term "Kavkaz nations" is diffused phantom. As well as "friendship" in ethnical sence. Its very comfortable to be friend of "Kavkaz nations" living far from these nations :) Come test the guys - and you will be more reserved...
We can be friends, of course. They are fighting for freedom like us! It was some time ago but we are thinking simillary. Poland also spend too much time under Russian occupation.
Furthermore Mamed Khalidov is Caucasian with Polish hearth :)))
Different people understand freedom in different ways. Basaev fought for freedom. We, Ossetians, do not fight for such "freedom". We call it savagery and wildness. We became a part of Russia by free-will. This proves that "Kavkaz nations" is phantom, there is no unite "Kavkaz"

look at everyone, this is georgian, this is ossetin, this is karachya...why does it matter. it is kavkaz, it is great, and it should be enjoyed equally by all of us. who benefits when you say this is so and so? we could all benefit for a strogner kavkaz region if we just started to agree again, we need to first share the culture again, otherwise we will stay at videos on youtube...great clip, wupsow
Caucasian (pankavkaz) culture is the strongest bind that ties all of its people together. Very similar to the Arabic saying لسان الضاض يجمعنا regardless of ethnicity, religion, or language.
yes, it is regardless of ethnicity because we all come from one common ancient race. religion is not a factor because, with the exception of chechens, teh caucasus is not an extreme relgious hot spot. i agree, there is a strong tie with ALL of the caucasus nations, even if tehy are at a dispute now, there is still a connection. wupsow,
Good comment. A part of the problem lies in the fact that every nation in the Caucasus thinks they are the best. I've read so many comments here on youtube where Georgians, Chechens, Circassians etc all say they are the best ppl in the whole world. This mentality (which is just an ordinary form of nationalism) is a major reason for the many conflicts in the Caucasus.
@AdigeShapsug last time Georgians spoke of Caucasian unity, you attacked us in Abkhazia and Osetia... dont u even dare to speak to us that ou this is our common culture ou this is our comman land or history... Your people are arrogant to their throaghts... god damn it I tried so many times to make peace with circassians but its damn impossible because u have not an inch of a brain and are attacking only other people who actually care about your future god damn it what the hell is wrong with you!
idk wat u guys in georgia call it but us karacays call it elburuz u know after the mountain but yah it is a very beutiful dance and very hard expecially keepin all the lines i used to dance so i know
Would someone who knows the plot of this movie please explain it.Someone said it's directed by a famous Georgian producer but what kafkaz people is the movie portraying? Please take a moment and explain this movie to me.The dance scene is beautiful with all the dignity of the kavkaz people (all nations and tribes) but the short clip of them eating makes us look like barbars. What was the director's point? He must have had something on his mind.
this film is made by siko dolidze, famous georgian director. i think its written by an famous ossetian writer. this film is about friendship and love. statment is: you should sacrifice even your love for your friendship(typical for caucasian folks)
Would it look better for the director to make the actors eat the food with silver spoons and knives while sitting outside in a village in god knows what year? The scene is 100% perfect for the atmosphere....
this is one georgian film ,,Fatima,,written and directed by famous georgian director siko dolidze in 1958. you can buy it in tbilissi in every store in every corner
don't believe some racist others. you are right: if somebody didn't live at the same time when a dance was made, he never can know, who made that dance first. this is the logic. the only thing that we know about this dance, is: this is an Ossetian dance & music. that's all.
think why do ossetian are iranian who are very different from other iranian, while all other nations in the world whose got the same roots are very similar

@999yullan these actors are georgian and they play ossetians not adigas. Get your facts right
galski88 7 months ago
@galski88 …I stand corrected. However, Georgian or Adyghe they are considered to be Kavkazian - at least as belonging to this part of the world.

Interesting, nice costumes and I guess lots of history behind, but the music is not really what you'd call catchy...
