At 1:24… One of the men is missing his arm…In NONE of the movies I have watched so far has there been any portrayal of war's tragic consequences: lost limbs, disfigurement, horrible scars, etc. This video has a somewhat realistic portrayal of table manners - despite xabza traditions, these look rough.

Caucasian (pankavkaz) culture is the strongest bind that ties all of its people together. Very similar to the Arabic saying لسان الضاض يجمعنا regardless of ethnicity, religion, or language.

Good comment. A part of the problem lies in the fact that every nation in the Caucasus thinks they are the best. I've read so many comments here on youtube where Georgians, Chechens, Circassians etc all say they are the best ppl in the whole world. This mentality (which is just an ordinary form of nationalism) is a major reason for the many conflicts in the Caucasus.

Would someone who knows the plot of this movie please explain it.Someone said it's directed by a famous Georgian producer but what kafkaz people is the movie portraying? Please take a moment and explain this movie to me.The dance scene is beautiful with all the dignity of the kavkaz people (all nations and tribes) but the short clip of them eating makes us look like barbars. What was the director's point? He must have had something on his mind.
