Well every screen recorder is going to make your graphics car lag because your graphic card isn't meant to handle that. My advice, get a better graphics card.

Well.. It could be the amount of RAM you have. I'd recommend at least 1 GB to record small dimensions, and 1.5 GB to record a full screen video. On the other hand, if you have a video card with at least 512MB ram ( OR MORE. ) then you'd probably only need about 512MB-1GB ram to record a full screen.

It's nearly impossible to zoom in this program, the reason I use it is because its higher quality and crisper than the other recorders, but there are some other (also free) alternatives that you can use if you want other features like zoom, just search around :)

if I use hypercam on my computer, my pc begins to lagg really hard, I see half what I type and such... My pc should be fast enough, 4gb ram, 1.8ghz processor, 150gb hhd... so yeah... Even if you play the video, you see there's lagg, but not that hard as there is while recording

Set the framerate and compression to a lower setting, this helps tremendously!

Just for future info, as long as there is 10 gigs of free space on a harddrive, it really doesn't affect computers speed and lag :)
