I wasn't obese or anything (6-4 245), but I have dropped 25 lbs. and am absolutely convinced that a low carb diet is the way to go. My only weakness is beer. I love my alcohol, but everything else is gone.
I never was a sugar guy ... but to think I've gone 2 months without pizza or potato chips is unreal.
you don't have to count calories, but you have to count carbohydrates, and make sure you DON'T eat them because when you don't eat carbohydrates (pure fat) your body is gonna live out of it's fat..
Love all your ideas and the fact you tell where to buy the products. I live in the South and we don't have a lot of stores to choose from. Did the Diet Rite sodas come from Walmart as well? Thanks for your help.

ALL carbs turn into glucose, wich gives u energy, if u do fuck all all day then u wont need much carbs! busy people will need some carbs for energy! ive halved my carb intake and lost about .5% of bodyfat in about a week lol, low carb, higher fat than normal tho....the body uses fat for energy once carbs r depleted! but i only get my fat from good sources like nuts, egg yolks, fish oil, advocado.
@Fahad1422 I stopped eating meat for a year, I went to more pasta's, and veggies, result, I gained 20lbs, and became low iron deficient anemic. Meat SHOULD be included in everyone's diet. We are natural meat eaters.

I went to the Dermatologist today and I was diagnosed with Acanthosis Nigrican.. which is from obesity and may cause Diabetes type 2... this is a great video... 2 years ago I lost 80 lbs eating like this. Ive gained most of it back from lack of motivation but am now back on track. This works guys...just remember to mix it up with the green vegies. I used to love eating pork rinds and use Tuna Salad as dip. Anyways...this is by far the easiest diet ever. Just dont over do it on the meat...It can be a bit heavy and make you feel sick. good luck fat folks...

Just cut down the portions a bit.. that's a lot of salad for one serving. Diet Soda is proven to be just as bad as regular soda. Just stay away from soda, Period.

oh , and im reallly lazy about working out , my only "work out" is walking up and down stairs all day at school. but thats it. i tried working out, i just don't ever have time & i can't stick with it.

I use pork rinds as a chip substitute. I have a recipe from Linda's low carb to make crackers out of sliced cheese in the micro. Those are good too!
DUSTY!!! (This is Jon aka Marineshape BTW) I used that same cheese and ham when I was on low carb. It cracked me up seeing those same packages. That ham is one of the few zero carb lunch meats out there. I found it at Walmart, all the others have carbs. Sargento is the way to go for cheese too. Glad to see you're doing so well! Low carb is great for starting a journey, the appetite supression helps you to stick with it and see major results. I have a cool e-book with recipes I can send you.

I had never heard about caffeine stimulating the pancreas to create insulin.... Even green tea? I tried cutting out Diet Pepsi to see if I would loose more weight and it made no difference. Sad...it's SO bad for you.
Drinking green tea about half an hour before meal time helps in your weight loss efforts as green tea helps suppress your appetite, make you less likely to overeat and has potent fat burning properties.

I don't count carbs. I do read the labels on my food to make sure how many carbs are in it. Like if something has 2 or 3 carbs I will eat it but if it has like 20 carbs I won't eat it. I think normally you aren't suppose to have over 30 carbs a day!
@120togo Um I'm a diabetic and You need WAY more carbs than 30 a day. You should actually have about 50 in a decent sized meal. So you can eat more than that if you are eating a whole meal just to let you know :)

You should try some lean beef from a butcher. We have a cow butchered and it is so much better! You have hardly any fat in the pan!

Try lemon juice and a little black pepper/sea salt (optional) on the cucumbers...
Im not sure if lemon juice is atkins friendly but if so definately try it!
