I think it's great that someone took the initiative to put this up. It was beautiful! Much much better than here in Melbourne. I just can't believe how much money was spent for the fireworks, but I guess will attract more tourists and that will end up getting payed for.

I can't believe I taped the Channel 7 version of this. They had the dodgiest countdown (it was two people in a room not even facing the harbour doing a very stoned countdown), and the crappiest camera work. I'm glad this came up, but I'm still looking for a good quality version of this.
