Try searching for shells wonderful world of golf. There is a match with Bryon Nelson and even though he is in his 50's he was still out driving his opponent. Nelson was 6'1" as compared to Hogan at 5'7". Hogan definately got the most from his size. From all the old matches ive been able to watch Nelson was just as long as long as Snead and Hogan. The unique thing about Nelson was that he had power and accuracy. Nobady seemed to build a career on that until Nicklaus.
Wayne I love your videos as a fellow golf instructor I like info you give. The only thing I don't like is all the lines. Hard to see the club and body moving. But great videos.
Care to comment on how long a hitter Byron was? I have always wondered how he compared to hogan and Snead. Byron does not appear to me to generate much power but I think I read somewhere that he was 'sneaky long'.
Thanks for your great work with these videos. I've been studying the golf swing for 40 years, but your videos have shown me some things I wasn't aware of. BTW, I'm a Wake Forest Deacon fan and remember you as a member of the golf team before transferring. I wonder if you knew Gary Pinns. I met Gary out at Forest Oaks one day, and we hit it off, practicing for a couple of hours on the range. I may sign up for your online video analysis!
I think the real key is hitting over ten thousand shots.

Very cool. Would love to see you do Knudson's swing. Your the best with the computer I have ever seen. Hope the snow clears so you can play soon.

There it is again; that dip! Nelson, Hogan, Woods, Miller; They all had it. And I am starting to notice why it works.
