I think it's hypocritical for people to lambast asians for eating dogs, when you can obviously see here that pigs are just as friendly and smart, if not smarter. You either eat meat, or you don't...when you eat meat, you have to realize that animals with personalities, spirits, and intelligence are killed for your short-lived benefit

I love these pigs! I don't really like potbellies because they get very mean and bite when they get older. The domesticated breeds are more friendly like the ones in the video. Sometimes I wish I were vegatarian, but I've eaten meat all my life.

True, but I think the whole ugly process is rather too separated from the consumer in shrink wrap trays in the supermarket. The mechanisation of the meat industry makes it a whole lot more cruel than it needs to be.

I agree. The taste difference between a freshly slaughtered and roasted pig is miles apart from what you buy at the supermarket. You really need to do it yourself to experience the real taste of an authentic whole pig roast.

This reminds me of my youth growing up with pigs. I wasn't a very productive farmer because they were so much fun to play with that I didn't get much work done! I loved my pigs, but still realized that they are food. I guess I'm just a complex person that way.

I don´t understand how anybody could say that pigs are cuttiest animals, and they are lovely and so on. Pigs are living symbol of arrogance, greed, selfishness,imorality, and impurity even when they are small.
