I'm an Indians fan - and I was sad to see Thome go. He's such a class act and likable guy - and i felt ashamed that Cleveland basically booed him out of the stadium when he returned..
Maybe they should boo the organization that refuses to pay anyone instead booing a guy who wanted to stay, but left because he felt like the organization didn't want him anymore.
Thome is still my favorite baseball player playing today, and I can't wait to see his jersey in Cooperstown someday.

Last summer I went to Baltimore and saw a Sox game there: at the field they have makers for homeruns and Thomes was there, like near the Entrance Gate which was a while away from the park. Amazing hitter.
