When he gets dumped from the Australian Liberal, he will turn on them. Then do the AL Gore charlartan sale pitch on the climate change theory to protect his investments.
Just like the unions, he has moved his investments to these house of cards eco-freak green schemes. So he is desperately trying to make lots of money, he has no concern for Australian jobs and your standard of living.
I regret thinking he would be good for the Liberal Party.
Mmm, and who was chairman of the Hong Kong-listed Axiom Forest Resources, which owned and operated logging concerns in the Solomon Islands & got surprisingly easy consessions? ...Yes, It was Malcolm Turnbull. So, he gets big $ out of SE Asian logging and then as Minister, puts a bit of Government Tax back!
John Howard values money more than a clean, healthy and sustainable environment. He values an economy over a community. He does not support difference or tolerance. Australia needs a leader who DOES believe in a better way, in a fresh approach, a leader who values minorities, cultural diversity and community. A leader who understands that job security and safety in the workplace build a strong, safe, open and more generous community.
Dear Malcolm, As one of your constituents, I look forward to voting against you and your cynical, regressive government.
The Coalition has deliberately misled Australia on a wide variety of issues, such as Iraq, climate change (remember when your government wasn't sure it was actually happening?), Tampa and many other issues. Your government has defended it's right to break 'non-core promises'.
John Howard and Liberal Party have taken a common sense approach, in stark contrast to mis-informed left wing hysteria. With this approach we can move towards a golden age not the dark age of the cave dweller greens.
So Turnbull doesn't like comments. I think tht is worth drawing to the attention of the media. Howard democracy in action... and Turbull such a man of the people, very similar to his Repuplican persona,, a head of state from Australia but not elected by the people.... a real man of the people not,,,, so long as you have 140 million in the bank.
Ever heard of methane? It has 11 times the effect of CO2 in global warming. Growing trees alone solves nothing, you just create more methane in a few decade's time. It will only help if we address the fossil fuel issue. Carbon trading alone has usually proven ineffective at reducing the big emitters, so perhaps you should consider both trading AND taxes. The public will understand it.. really, they will.
Isn't it a wee bit contradictory to pay for other countries to stop foresting under the banner forest preservation and yet won't stop cutting down old growth forests in Australia?

I second that. I really couldn't care less if we have to smack a couple of hip-pocket nerves to secure the future of our planet.

Methane is actually 62 times more powerful in its global warming effect over 20 years and 23 times more powerful over 100 years
