Mississippi Republicans Take Voter ID to the People

Well, first off, for those people who do not have a government issued i.d., one will be provided by the state of mississippi free of charge. Second, the bill that came to the senate from the house that was killed by republicans was done so because there were so many things added into it that it would have been nearly unbeneficial to pass it. Therefore, this was the only way to get a clean, voter i.d. process completed.

Dumb move Mississippi, what a way to weed out certain voters. A lot of poor people don't own a driver's license or a photo id! This is class discrimination and it doesn't matter if you are democrat or republican.

Cute. It could've passed the Senate and gone to the Governor but Fillingane killed the bill.
