What do you have to do in order to Rebecca come in and save you? I have done the Plant 42 twice (easy and normal) but i have never got to use Rebecca.

you have to find her and Richard in the mansion as Chris, and later on it'll give you the option on whether or not you want her to tag along. If you say yes, she'll play Moonlight Sonata and kill Plant 42 for you, as well as finding the serum should you have been poisoned at some point in the game. If you say no, she is killed later on. If you don't find her and Richard at all, neither show up.

I thought you had to play as Rebecca at the Plant 42 bit. Why didn't you have to? Is there something you did that made you not play as Rebecca?

If you tell her to come with you then yes, you play as her, but if you tell her to stay then you have to face the plant head on. (At least in the original one.)

you need to get the broken shotgun and replace it with the shotgun in the east end of the house (otherwise you get squashed)

Jill must be way smarter than Chris, cuz she suspected Wesker the moment she met up with him again. Chris just follows orders and doesn't question his vanishing or any other suspicious actions.

It's in the Residence. You get it where you enter the Residence. Just keep going through the Double Doors. Then you go down the stairs that's in the same room. The red book is next to a 'First Aid Box'.

Watch out for the Giant Spiders, though.

It's more illuminated when I play it but when it's recorded it's darker so I also just know where they are.

It's a gun that will kill any non-boss in one shot, there's no extra ammunition because it's so powerful.

And it only has one shot, since the second shot was used by one of the zombies (which he was still unzombified but had the virus growing in him) to kill his friend. He placed the body in the bathroom area, and then the guy who fired the shot hung himself.
