I have the original set of toys that came out with the first movie. I remember playing with them alot cause I loved it so much. And as far as I can remember, they were pretty accurate. Woody had the pull string, Buzz could open his wings and so forth. Really awesome memories...

they put out a karate chop action buzz but the draw back is that the buttons do not work and he doesnt speak.figures the only feature this great collection buzz does not do,it does everything else from the film thought,also I hear rumors of a collection utility belt buzz,a jessie and lotso debuted at a toy fair,wish they would put ot a zurg toy.

I've got three of these replicas. I've played with one, the other two are Christmas presents for my son.

I haven't got the Buzz or Woody, because I bought them a while ago at the Disney Store.

I understand the difficulty with getting Buzz to operate just like the movie (push button helmet, head that squeks), etc. But these aren't inexpensive toys either. I think for $40-$50 a pop they could have gone ALL out in stead of just all out.

That said, I'd love the penguin for myself. :)

actually, one thing i notice in all the buzz toys that aren't like the movie, is the helmet.

in the movie, the helmet had a button that retracts the whole helmet. the real thing, and not the movie, its always just half the helmet. But i understand that that'd be really hard to do so, i'm just being nit-picky ^^

Some things that are wrong:

No karate chopping action

His head doesn't move(in movie)

Arms don't bend all the way down(for a more relaxed pose)

Wings are longer(just a little bit though)

(and the one that dissapoints me most) His helmet does not fully close in the backpack

The Mr. Potato Head could use some work. It shouldn't have legs, I'm sorry, but it should be just a potato body and two separate shoes, along with two separate eyes, that's all that's needed to be fixed.

There IS a karate chop action Buzz, but aside from the chopping action, it doesn't do anything (the legs don't even bend at the knees!).

There's another one they released that's meant to be part of the line, but it's cheaper than the 100% movie faithful Woody & Buzz. Think of the 30 sayings Buzz,it's that price
