Thats why at 30 my full coverage CBR600 insurance is over $1000 a year and Ive never been in an accident and havent had a ticket since I was 19, but the insurance on my 1598cc Harley is only $375 a year. Make sure you have your facts straight before you speak.

Either way it still doesnt change the fact that a $18,000 harley with 1000CCs more has half the insurance of a $8000 street bike because of morons that ride like idiots.
There is a simple and logical explanation as to why sportbike insurance rates are higher than prices of regular motorcycle coverage. Insurance is based on actuarial data, and according to statistics, sport motorcycles tend to be involved in more accidents than any other kind of bike.
