    wtf :D

  • @JENNYxFASHIONxVICTIM when dreading your hair you dont have to cut ur hair off but it does take ALOT of ime taking them out so its better for senthetic dread lol srry i noe im not spelling alot of things right im just really tierd lol

  • @coolrockingchika

  • @JENNYxFASHIONxVICTIM if you have synthetic they come out as soon as you unbraid and take the rubberbands out if you wants dreads already premade email me i make them however they are asked for and sell them by the bag i have a huge selection of different colors and sizes i will have my own site soon once i get more clients so let me know how you would like yours made and ill them started.

  • Oh yeh n what bout short hair?

  • One Question..does this work with black ppl hair?? i had 2 ask! lol xD

  • Soooo much easier to just get falls.

  • i wish i had someone to do my hair like that,. ughhh

  • @ekimusman2 Well congratulations to you. I don't really give a fuck, because I like it. *shrugs*

  • when your done does your regular hair show through? cuz im hair is brown but id like to have either black dreads with lime green tips, black with red tips or just red but i dont want my brown hair showing

  • i wanna make a help full note :) these aren't ment to bond and become permanent dreds so when you take them out you don't have to cut them out or anything . if you have seen other video were girls took there dreds out and it looked really dead thats because thoes were real dreds :)

  • How do you take them out?

  • How do you take them out?

  • Dude. Love that tat on your hand. Freaking siiick!

  • @missraenose are you serious? that's the shittiest hand piece i've ever seen.

  • do you make synthetic dreads???

  • Wow, that was really helpful :D

  • I love how you call stray hairs pokies!

  • @tabithakm yeah it sucks but im just goin to pay someone to put in real human hair extensions

  • I could never do this to my own head! :(

  • damn come do my hair :(

  • @xRainbowkitty666x awe I wish I could help you! I do make and ship, but that doesn't help much for the install

  • where can u get these done

  • when u install them it's forever, untiff u get bored, or u have to uninstall them sometimes, for example while washing or so? please somebody answer me! ;d

  • @MissCashia synthetic dreads stay in up to 8 weeks. You do not have to take them out to wash your hair.

  • @tabithakm and do u know if ur hair gets destroyed after u take it off after those 8 weeks? coz u know it is all the time bound with the dread, i was wondering if it has any impact on ur hair..

  • @MissCashia is does not harm your hair at all. I have been wearing synthetic dreads for almost 5 years and I have very healthy hair

  • @tabithakm oh that's great then :) thanks :)

  • @tabithakm how do you intall them if you have really long hair (mid back)?

  • Your method is quite queer

  • omg..lol! you solved my problem, <3 thanks

  • It looks to me like,

you are making a Transitional dread/ friendship bracelet. That's for teaching this, it looks alot better than brading them in.

    McKibble

  • taught you mean "tight"

  • I'm guessing it's easier with shorter hair? mines nearly 28" long and i want to add synthetic dreads. =/

  • I have only one little question :D can I have long hairs for synth. dreads? I'm just wondering because I don't want to cut my hairs...so what do you think?

  • I like how you say, installing for dreads.

  • how can you make thick dreads?

  • I've heard that people with dread's or Yarn Dread's can't wash their hair, is that true?

  • @GhostChaser95 This is not true at all. I was my dreads without any problem whatsoever :)

  • @tabithakm really :o with shampoo and conditioner??

  • This is definitely the best method I have seen of installing so far

  • Snake around the pole! Your method is a method used for making key chains (you know the plastic ones kids make?) I like it! Thanks for posting.

  • cool :D Ich hab zwar echte Dreads aber wenn ich nicht darauf gekommen wäre würde ich auch synthetic dreads machen:D Cool :D

  • I'm thinking about adding some fake dreadlocks to my hair to make them look longer. But I'm not sure. I want just to ad them on top of my head withoud shaving lower layer. Is this possible to hide my real medium-short hair behind couple of dreads on the top of my head?

  • lovely way of installing !

  • great thnx! it'll help me!!!!

  • Thank you so much! lol i've been wondering how to install synthetic dreads!

    -Lilith

  • how do i take them out ?

  • as bra (:

  • i got this angle better :)

thanks god for u and youtube hahaha n_n

  • This was great, thank you!

  • Hjälpsamt som fan :)

  • yo how long can u leave them in for

  • usually up to 3 months

  • oh alrite cool thanks

  • what is the shortest a persons hair can be to do

    something like this ?

  • ~3-4 inches

  • Actually sometimes you can get away with two inches even.

  • can you wash your hair if you keep them in?

are they easy to get out once you've finished with them?

i've just had braids with synthetic extensions in and they were a B*tch to get out(mind you i had them in for 8 months, a bit too long and had dreaded at the roots)

but i was thinking about having synth dreads so i can take them in and out.

  • Of course you can wash your hair. It just takes a long time to dry.

They are very simple to get out, you just snip the elastic and undo the braid. I don't suggest wearing them for 8 months however, you will get "dread hang" and it wont look very pretty.

Dreading at the root is always a possibility, just be patient when brushing your hair out.

  • cool thanx that is very helpful!^^

i like your vids. very informative!^^

  • I was taught to make the dreads with a loop at one end, how do I put those in? O_O

  • those are called single ended dreads, they go in exactly the same way

  • I was just using the wrong kind of rubber band. Mine allways break. OOPS! sorry=)

  • I use tread insted of rubber band see that it last longer and i can blend it in better=) just a helpful hint.

  • I've never had a goody rubber band or a scuncii one break on me.

I've found a method that works good for me for the last 10 years. But thanks anyways.

  • i dont understand what i am doing wrong i do you method but it just ends up as a plat

  • just keep trying and trying. Eventually you will get it.

Some people catch onto things right away and some people don't.

Don't worry about it and keep trying.

  • this is exactly the way i braid them in.

how long do they typically stay in?

  • they can stay in as long as you want. I've never had one of these elastics break on me. I guess that's why I pay 5 dollars for a pack of 52. haha.

I don't like to keep my dreads in for more than 6 weeks.

there's lots of regrowth and shedded hair into the braid that NEEDS combing out.

I always tell my clients I do not guarantee the safety of their hair past 8 weeks.

THe natural dreading process can be brutal on some people.

  • Any tips on triangle sectioning on yourself?

  • The triangle sectioning IS good, but well, hard to do on yourself :(

  • it is I agree.

I've been putting in my own dreads for a long time.

I just pinch a section, split it i half and then do my best when I'm doing this on myself.
