Fantastic song! First heard this on the Taylor Swift/Def Leppard Crossroads special. It was breath. One of the band's best ballads worthy of Love Bites, Hysteria, and Bringing On The Heartbreak. If you are a Def Leppard and/or Taylor Swift fan, I highly recommend checking out their live version of this great song. It's even more haunting when they combine forces.

@Runi45 If I'm not mistaken, Sav started writing this around the time Freddie died. He held onto it because he didn't want people thinking he copied Queen. Sav is a huge Queen fan & you can tell on this track. One of the most beautiful songs Def Leppard has ever done.

this is one song that i have gotten to know and love. me and my wife almost split up for good and i called the radio station up here in MO and requested that they play this song for her and they did about 45 minutes later my wife comes home crying which made me cry and she told me that she got the request and we have been better ever since thank you Def Leppard i love you guys and always will

i just got a little curious and wondered what their new stuff sounded like, and honestly, its just bad, ever since Steve Clark died, it has been bad, especially the Slang album. I mean come on, when are they ever gonna make good songs like they did in the 80s and early 90s? just my opinion.

@codyjt5150 i share your opinion dude. I think this is the only song i've quite liked off the album for some reason, despite it's 'cheesiness' (but hey, Def Leppard can be as cheesy as they like) - the piano version is quite nice too. Otherwise not keen on the album. I'll take Adrenalize any day.

I am a huge fan of Def Leppard and I think this song is very strong. Having said that every time I listen to it it reminds me of Man of Mystery by The Shadows. They share the same chord progression, proving that an original song is almost impossible to create these days. We need to invent some new notes - I vote we extend the scale to H and I - what do you say? :))

They took and sampled some older songs plus they took some of there own older work and added it in. You can hear riffs that remind you of Photograph on Hallucinate. On Go the start of the solo is remenicent of Rocket, and on Nine Lives it has a Armageddon it sound. But I still say the rhythym of this song is similar to Stairway to Heaven. That is the sign of a truly great band, they can take there old stuff and bits and pieces of other stuff and piece it together perfectly to form greatness
