how do u expect them to produce the games any better then they did? they had cameras roaming around the ice following the players... they can't depict it exactly but they did a hell of a job of coming close... they also needed to find actors that looked like the person they were playing and could skate... marvelous job if u asked me... kurt russel was fantastic and the storyline was great... my favorite movie of all time... no question

The USSR led 3-2 going into the third, and the U.S. scored twice in a span of about two and a half minutes to go up 4-3 with 10:00 remaining. They didn't do any massive celebration like this after scoring the lead goal, as there was a LOT of time left.
@derkommissar1917 he said "with 4 seconds left on the power play." not the period. and they scored 81 seconds apart--and both goals (although Eruzione's was celebrated more) were highly celebrated on the ice.
well, don't forget, this was the Cold War. In the American's eyes, the USSR was all things evil. The director was trying to show the tensions that were really there.
Whiny? well i am not Russian, but the Russians have what? 7 Olympic golds, 1 silver, 1 bronze, and the Americans have the same amount 7...but unfortunately silver medals and only 2 golds...so who's whiny lol....
Not to mention couldn't shoot a proper hockey movie even with all these millions of Hollywood dollars, the amount of errors in this movie make it straight up stupid.
