@Fakers126 Here's my theory: Chell was a daughter of an Aperture employee, and one of the only survivors of Take Your Daughter to Work Day. We don't know who it was. GLaDOS actually IS Caroline. In a robot body. You know how Cave Johnson said to MAKE Caroline in charge? Well, she obviously was forced, especially if you've heard the deleted audio. I believe that she was so distraught that she gassed the enrichment center and became evil for revenge/spite.

I would imagine, however, the third game would involve Chell and the Combine. (Yes, that Combine.) I would also imagine the portal gun would be in the companion cube. (It is a storage device, after all.) That would be good for the resistance, because Chell is one tough bitch and the Combine is already dealing with Freeman.

1. Half life 2 episode 3 comes out and ends with Gman putting Gordon into Cryo.

2. Half life 3 comes out with Gman bringing Gordon into the future where Chell is(9999999 etc. years in the future) where he finds and helps chell.

3. In the next game(Portal 3, or Half life 3) You can play as gordon with the weapons, or Chell with the portal gun, and you find the borealis, linking the storylines together.

Highly unlikely. Cave and Caroline were alive and kicking in the 50s and 60s, and Portal 1 takes place in modern day or shortly after, I believe. So unless Chell was floating in cyro, there's no way she was the daughter of Cave and Caroline. Which doesn't eliminate the possibility; she might've. But it's unlikely.
