  • One of the greatest live performances of all time, this video never gets old

  • a reference to the woman on " Wheel of Fortune"...bored on the road they watched it and had a thing for her

  • 3:35 dat face

  • 5:00

Nice of Phil to give Mike a bit of a reference to Mike and the Mechanics, there. :)

  • I LOOOOOOOOOOVE this sont by genesis but..but..but ... the beguining is similar " prone accident " trought status quo no??? in 1978 ... and turn it on again in 1980 !

  • Live from "The way We walk" (We can't dance tour 1992)

  • @JPde3

was just about to ask! cheers :-)

  • What year is this from?

  • So glad that I saw Genesis at their best, abacab tour in Ann Arbor, Michigan...with Joan Jett (lol) as the opener.

  • @dreadnaught2 Genesis and Joan Jett, really interesting combination! Wish I'd seen them. I only have seen Genesis with Ray Wilson.

  • DEAR DADA(GD) KING LORD SIR PHILIP...YOU HAVE GREAT BAND....WHERE IS MY BAND?

  • Gta Vice City Stories :)

  • NEVER NO MATCH TO BRITISH ACCURACY!

  • apparently, the more hair you lose the harder it is to hit those high notes.....maybe phil could gargle with some propecia

  • YEAH! Now, please enjoy my cover version of this.

serch "TURN IT ON AGAIN COVER BY PINO LETTIERI"

    E N J O Y !!!!!!!!!

  • I really love it............superb concert!

  • 3 people turn it off for justin bieber...

  • Cool is the word! :)

  • Very cool how they let the crowd do the countoff then bam there's the keyboard.

    Robert Nix Rock/Pop Artist

  • Why the hell is Right Said Fred coming up as a suggested video?

  • @DrumminAnimal73 You should watch that video. It's hilarious and a total goof. The guys in the band have even said in interviews it was a joke. Funny stuff.

  • @DrumminAnimal73 dunno, nobody's perfect, I guess

  • Genesis 1980

  • Phil had hair then :O

  • great performance i luv alll the lites!!

  • love the time signature... 13/8 ftw

  • Some real professionals performing at a high level-sounding great live like all talented musicians should!

  • I love how among all the Genesis songs in the suggestions is "Jose's pinata fail". Ridiculous. That was clearly a Phil Collin's solo song.

  • 1ST time since 1830 that the nation Belgium is OVER ONE YEAR on the road with no government. Turn it on again! But do we still need them? The "administrative-inhabitants" of 7 SEVEN governments-in-THE-government , so much people evendo not believe the fact!!!- that cost us all that money FOR WHAT than heving their asses assured??? I'd like to know.

  • how anyone can dislike this is beyond me...

  • phil tried to hold onto that hair a lil too long!!! lmao!!!

  • i just turned it off!!! lol!!

  • WHO DON'T LIKE THIS AMAZING SONG !

  • This song... I think I'm going to turn it on again.

  • TURN IT ON AND PUT THE VOLUME AT MOST

  • it really is a shame genesis became this peter gabriel era and early collins was awesome but this no.........well i guess money does this to a great band

  • @nicothemusicfan Such a tired cliche. Honestly the prog era is amazing and the Rock era is fantastic as well. I don't let mindless bias get in the way of enjoying albums like Genesis and Invisible Touch.

  • @pinkfloydrule27 Well said, I used to completely discount the later era Genesis, but I've realized that they're just as good, they're just different. They didn't lose their ambition like most people seem to think, and they didn't sell out.

  • tony Banks, is one of the best if not the best keyboard player out there! He is always so cool, you never hear him mess up, never see his struggle with it, it's just easy to him. you see him, just kicking back playing flawless music, every now & then you will see a beer next to the keyboard, rock n roll bad ass? lol. a bad ass for sure!

  • Damn... that brother playin the drums belongs there. Phil originally played the drums in the studio. Phil is a World Class drummer for sure. To keep up with Him you have to be good. To hear Him in a more ''Rock'" context listen to His playin on Robert Plants; Pictures at Eleven album 1982. For those of you that don't know, He plays on 7 of the 9 songs and it is well worth a listen. Genesis are great in their own right . One of the best bands around especially in the 80's and 90's. Long Live Rock

  • 2 people didn't turn it on

  • thank you so much for posting this! i LOVE this song!!!

  • Awesome-I have recreated Tony Banks Quadra synth in software-check my channel to hear it in action performing Genesis tracks.

    Peace.

  • <3<3<3

  • "And me!" The conceited git... Ah well. It's all about the music, anyhow.

  • Recadito pa' la MARI

  • i really don't understand how people can't love this man, and it honestly pains me that he quit the business when he's such an amazing singer and songwriter. sure, a bit cheesy at times, but name on big artist that hasn't been/isn't cheesy at times. i like cheese though.

  • awesome!

  • Real Madrid Jose Mourinho on Keyboards LOL!

First time I listen this song was on Dream Theater´s Big Medley I love this song!

  • Turn it on...AGAIN? Why was it turned off in the first place? D:

  • Lead vocai looks like 江頭2:50.

※ 江頭2:50・・・Japanese famouth comedian. From Japan 日本

  • It's the music that matters with this band, what happened to bands that look like you and me yet sound amazing?

  • i tried showing my sister this to teach her a little about time signatures in music so she could understand how basically all rhythms in music work and how you can manipulate a melody to be the best fucking thing in the world with it...

and she said it wasn't important to her and that she "didn't care" and "she thought it was something funny."

i took one look at her like... >.>

    and said GTFO BITCHHHHH!!!!! >:O

  • And that legendary sold out tour would be...? Good grief.

  • One of those gigs I'd visit again and again if I had a time machine, cos I bloody missed it!

  • THE GREATEST BAND EVER. GENESIS FOR LIFE!!

  • "....and me!" - best lead singer introduction ever

  • mommo sometimes im shy

  • Un tema que te levanta el ánimo, estés como estés...

    TREMENDA CANCIÓN!!!, llena de fuerza...

  • I like the fact that they seem to be like every one else in the world, not rock star. It would be awsome to be Phill's son: "Look!! my dad plays the drums and got a kick ass voice" =D

  • dig Chester Thompsons drum kit, the sound is nicely processed, dude is focused

  • You have to give Phil credit for bringing the band into the 80's, but I still think Duke was the last album that connected with the 70's Genesis, at all. Most would probably say that it was ATTWT.

  • one lonely sucker dindt turn it on again...

  • @RezzKalozzTV Probably didn't know how in the first place! lol

  • I'm thinking Genesis may have had more than one sold out tour... Anyone know which tour this vid is from?

  • @deadheadtrea From the We Can't Dance Tour in 1992....

  • Would have loved to have been there. My favorite Genesis song.

  • Hands down the best live version I've ever heard of this song!

  • yes - 13/8 there is absolutely no excuse for the blatant lack of creativity in today's pop music. call it prog rock, call it rock, call it music. It is imaginative, creative and inspired. This a 13/8 dance song. I played this song in a top 40 band at high school dances when it was a smash and never lost a dancer. (BTW - it is alternating 4/4 and 7/8) This song is a testimony to great songwriting and having the courage to letting creativity be your guide!!

  • Phill Collins he is the best .When he formed Genesis back in 1969 I was just a nipper .

  • @inneswarbeck1 Actually, it was Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford who formed Genesis - Phil Collins joined in 1971 as the band's third (and definitive) drummer. :)

  • @SPeacock phil collins wasn't their last drummer, two drummers followed on the album of 1997. (calling all stations)O:

  • @korystonecold yup, just check out "return of the giant hogweed", with Peter Gabriel on vocals. Phil actually had a full head of hair back then :-)

  • haha wish phil prefer to sing this song in vice city stadium

  • vice city music :3

    one of the best

  • I'm a huge fan of Genesis' early proggier stuff, and I love this song! After all, how could a Prog fan not love a catchy tune in 13/8?

  • this has been the only video so far that has absolutely no dislikes!!! Glad it was Genesis ;DDDD

  • @ozzylover411 One person couldn't turn it on.

  • @MordaciousFilms cuz that person has a horrible ear!

  • great song...:D according to my very old dad -.-' xD

  • I love this song. BUT, could someone PLEASE tell the editors of live videos that we do NOT need any views from beyond row 5. AND STOP SWITCHING VIEWS EVERY HALF SECOND!!!!. JESUS!!! How about 5 to 30 seconds of one shot then maybe got to another one. This totally ruins trying to watch any live videos. I swear I could put these idiots to shame if they would just let me do the editing.

  • @incommudro yes it drives me nuts when they do that!

  • genesis !!!!!!!!!

  • spacesuit

  • Some the best Rock & Roll EVER!!!

  • Listening to this I can't help myself to think how the music ont the radio sucks...

    5 solid stars video

  • awesome song! love genesis!

  • @cableguy273 Which song do you think is the better concert finale? Turn It On Again or The Carpet Crawlers? :)

  • if I could come back in life as one person, it would be Tony Banks. I would love to be able to play keyboards like he does!

  • @RadioSteve1969 It's thanks to Tony Banks that I now play keyboards (not as proficiently as him, of course). :)

  • Oh yeah 92 tour! Great!

  • The most unlikely frontman for a rock band and at the same time one of the most incredible. One of the most talented of all time. Turn it on again !

  • Love this song!

  • I come from times where Genesis were singing about Kings , Queens , Harrold theBarrel, Nursery crimes , The Knife...and Suppers Ready!... and all that.

But like Genesis , I never stopped turning it on again!

  • Say what you want about Phil Collins, the guy is a genius!

  • Let's Turn it On People!

  • AND ME!!! The best way to announce oneself... Heard it once on a live album, now I use it to end the presentation of my band... Seems to work better than everything else so far :)

  • Brush you're stinking yellow teeth

  • PHIL IS AMAZING
