  • 1st amendment: "Congress shall make no law....abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press". so why are we even talking about this?

  • Go fuck yourself before you call people fascist that you don't even know. The only thing I "bought into" is the right for people to oppose the racist apartheid regime of zionist israel. I believe "christians" that support ethnic cleansing aren't really christians at all and this is a reasonable point of view to have and certainly not fascist, but it's complete opposite. suck it bitch.

  • what kind of christians don't like fairness?

probhably the same kind that supports racist apartheid in what is today called israel. do these people even know what christianity is?

    clearly not.

  • so much for pluraism you fascist

'Fairness' is NEWspeak from Orwell's 1984, and you bought into it

  • Well done, Congressman Pence!

  • Zakimar sounds like a jihadist terrorist who needs to be shot before he blows up a city. Rep Mike Pence is amoungst the greatest conservative minds of the congress. He is realistic, and trys to keep morals and values in mind when he makes a decision. KEEP THE "FAIRNESS" DOCTRINE DOWN PEOPLE! It tramples over freedom of speech, and could really even lead to internet broadcasts (like youtube) being regulated by Government. If you like Youtube, fight against the "Fairness" Doctrine!

  • A great Hoosier! Seeing and hearing him makes me wish I could vote for him! Instead, i'm stuck with the ridiculous 9th. district.

  • god bless you mike! The without the first amendment we have nothing

  • Man, Mike Pence is fantastic. Why have I not heard about this guy before? Ohhhh, right, because the media does not like people like Mike Pence, Mike Huckabee, Michelle Bachmann, or other pro life fiscally conservative, and pro strong foreign policy statesmen and women. They are too busy wondering if Sarah Palin knows whether or not Africa is a continent or if it was her fault that Trig Palin has Downs Syndrom. Pathetic media we have, and we need freedom of the airwaves to fight them.

  • The "Broadcaster Freedom Act" fell flat on its face. Much like Mike Pence's political future.

Now, bring on those negative comments and "thumbs down" evaluations! I love it when dim-witted types try in vain to walk upright on their hind legs but end up getting visceral and irrational: it merely proves that my opinions about them are correct.

  • Mike Pence is a great Congressman. Wish we had more like him. And I am from KY...LOL

  • Bush may be an idiot, but he's right about the "fairness doctrine": Ideas should (and by law, must) compete against eachother without the interferrence of govt. This notion is such a per se violation of the First Amendment that if it ever passed Congress (it won't), the Supreme Court would strike it down unanimously.

  • Actually, he does represent his constituents. Very well I might add.

  • "mike pence is really sad, because he doesnt represent the people of his region in indiana"

The people of Indiana think that listeners have no right to determine what entertains them best? Not a very American place to be if this is true. If communists, socialists, or leftists in general had anything interesting to say Air America would have been top dog. Should Air America be forced to inject 50% far right wing programming? The listeners should choose, not the govt.

  • The MoveOnacrats will NEVER let this be voted on.

  • *They* tried to silence Limbaugh with Soros's [Hillary's friend] money and Limbaugh turned it into a $4 million dollar WIN for a Marine's charity.

  • fuck politics

  • good for him. The Demos fear the truth

  • Good for him! I love it when Democrats/Leftists try to tell me only they are in favor of free speech and Conservatives/Republicans are not, I quote them the Democratic support of the Fairness Doctrine. And they shut the hell up.

  • Hey Sexfanatic. Go educated yourself on the war and the actual facts of why we are there. The reasons start in the early 90's. Go reference the U.N. Reolution 1441. Go study the "Oil for Food" scandel that the U.N., France, Russia, and Germany were involved in. Then come have this discussion when you actually have the facts.

  • I say, freedom wins if those who sign the discharge petition get dishonorably discharged from congress.

  • take your bull crap somewhere else. I say impeach the democrats for voting for the war then voting against funding which takes away money for our troops that help with body amour. so Suport a republican impeach a democrat.

  • democrats realized their mistake when they voted for the war because they realize it's a stupid war republicans are STILL STUPIDLY SUPPORTING the war, do i vote for the ppl who realized their mistake and where up front about it or the republicans that are to proud to realize they are human and made a mistake? decisions decisions

  • people who make mistakes on that maginitude and then say "opps! I made a mistake!" after 4 years and over 3000 military fatalities need not be in office for even dog catcher. I expect my congressperson to investigate the facts and know the consequences of the outcomes before they vote on something as serious as going to war. If they don't, they need to be replaced.

  • i rather trust someone who is upfront about it than someone who lies about it and tries to secretly cover up their mistakes and act like the path they are taking isn't wrong...like bush and iraq for example

  • they are only being politically expedient in an election year showdown. anyone who wins the election will not pull out of the Iraq war for years to come. They know the consequences, but, will not acknowledge them until after the election. Right now they want the anti-war vote. Listen to Hillary carefully.

  • i do agree with that last reply,ctclardy...but i rather trust a policital party that has been caught up in lies and scandal, and this generation the rep.party has had the most scandal of any party in the united states. it's like chosing the lesser evil. do i pick a party that might lie or the rep.party THAT I KNOW LIES

  • you and I both know that both parties lie rapaciously. follow the money and see who has garnered the most political contributions and fear them the most. that money will be spent on the madison ave moguls who will in turn use their batteries of social scientist to manipulate, deceive, and convince you and me of their clients genuineness and authenticity. of course little if any of it is true. it might help to learn about world views to better understand politics.
