Also, before it came under a British legal administration, the majority of that region was Arab, not Jewish. That's an actual fact. And no I'm not an apologist (before I get a silly answer) for what some of the Palastinian/Arab side has done, or that I don't think Israel also has a right to exist.

My grandparents had a home in Hayfa..in the middle of the night a Jewish family accompanied by Jewish soldiers woke everyone up, ordered them to dress and threw them out with their crying and terrified children and put the jewish family in their home. My grandparents ended up staying in a consintration camp for many months then later moved to Syria where my dad and his siblings grew up. This is only 1 family of thousands more..if this is not occupation then what is!!

@Packerd01 Dude, prior to 1948 that whole area was called Palastine UNDER the British Mandate- or Palastine Mandate. The 1917 Balfour Declaration was designed to create a Jewish home in Palastine. Also, before it came under a British legal administration, the majority of that region was Arab, not Jewish. That's an actual fact. And no I'm not an apologist (before I get a silly answer) for what some of the Palastinian/Arab side has done, or that I don't think Israel also has a right to exist.

@saadasim I'm trying to say is that the palestinians have nothing to bargain with. Any military option for them is nulified, forever, trust me. Israel's international relationships are pretty solid, they have free trade agreements with half of the world. We live in a world that no country would jeopardize that because of Human Rights violations.
The only way Palestinians could have a State is on Israeli terms, and we can clearly see Israel does not want that.

told to drop these conditions for a agreeable solution, it would be great if Israel and Palestine came to an understanding through negotiations, but to hold that as the only way to achieve peace is severely limiting in my opinion. If the PLO get this done, they will an non member observer state of the UN, not that bad. Israel is, in fact, no more evil than any other state, and in comparison to other states with whom the U.S. is allied, it's less so. It engages in the kind of lying and deceit that every other country, notably the U.S., engages in. What is egregious about the case of Israel is not that they evoke victim status to do it (although they do) but that they do it on our dime. That's what needs to end more than anything else.
