  • Cool music and video...

  • When I was a kid, they played strange movies in the middle of the night. Like this one.

  • 3:38-4:25 so sad - why not just go on vacation and enjoy the family.

  • This album's arrangements / composition is complex and amazing -- this song exemplifies it mostly.

  • If you can find it, get ABC Music, SFRSCD111 on the BBC/Strange Fruit label,

it's all their BBC sessions from 1991 - 200,. cracking stuff, all live recordings.

  • Nothing like the 'Lab!!!

  • @micmac99 - This stuff is pure "genius" of Stereolab. This makes me imagine of walking on a street in Paris in the 60's eveloped in a type of soapy bubbly bliss surounded by jazz. It take a genius to make up this stuff and put you in this type of "imagination". This is one of the best music I heard from Stereolab, Incredible!

  • love love love!

  • those horns kill me every time. This band is just SO musically amazing it blows me away

  • @langoste that's what i was going to say

  • this video doesn't seem to beat about the bush when it comes to making a political point!

  • lovley little song

  • I love the bass line

  • why didnt I know stereolab was an incredible band+ª""?

  • gngngngngn gngngn

  • what a beautiful song!!!!

  • great!

  • One of my favorite songs! thanks for uploading :)

  • Sounds like a song that would play if someone was lost in the boreal forest. So, what is Sound-Dust anyway? Noisy particles?

  • I'm going to have to look up this 'Critique de la Separation' film, it looks interesting

  • El grupo inglés Stereolab y un gan éxito de 2001: "Baby Lulu".

  • Mmm :)

  • not much from their Sound Dust album for some reason....

  • dope track!

  • travelling

  • Great song. Killed a spider to it once. Don't worry, he deserved it.

  • @DavidLarryTwo What a fantastic comment, and I'm sure he certainly did.

  • this song sends my saratonin levels through the roof

  • Such a gorgeous, chill, song.

  • From 2:27 on it's like listening to dreaming! Does anyone know who the Situationist heroes in the film are? Especially the woman at the end who looks like she is being arrested after committing some violent political crime?

  • Very unique stuff. Captivating song and video. This is only my 2nd Stereolab experience. I don't want to hear them all at once, because I feel like each song will be like a surprise package.I'm savoring it !

  • sweet trombone chorus

  • starting at 2:27 I feel like I'm in heaven or glimpsing in.

  • at 2:27! i agree. my favorite part of the song. you should hear the stripped down version from the abc music: the radio 1 sessions. not as dreamy but still so beautiful. ah, the vocal harmonies!

  • this song is very good!

  • I begged my wife to let me name our daughter Lulu because of this song, but she said no. We settled on Samantha, instead. She may have been thinking a little more clearly than me. Lolol.

  • I love how the ending of this song sounds....It's genius and full of feelings.

    Mmmmmmwah!

  • Amazing Prog Rock track!!

  • brings me to tears every time.

  • this video completes my life and i think if the world would listen to it everybody would die in peace.

  • Is this video official? If not, it's a totally amazing job dude, love it.

  • Really unofficial, it´s a Debord´s film: "Critique de la separation". Thanks.

  • Yay for the Situationists! :-)

  • This song brings back such fond memories of sunny late summer 2001 at college in Pittsburgh - the last, lazy and dreamy days before the 11th of September of that year.

  • Yeah see you at Slottsfjell this year!

  • Dialectic rules:

    "Rational and poetical,

    Summing up contradictions.

    Lyrical departure, formal unity,

    All in one.

    Intimate sensuality,

Big and cold non-places of concrete.

Art and social action, freedom and control

    All in one"

  • thanks i always wondered what she was saying

  • Wow. That song is so beautiful...thank you stereolab for existing.
